Bea's of Bloomsbury
A tea shop/bakery/cafe, Bea's has three branches now. Two of them are in the heart of neighborhoods a visitor to London will travel. The original location in Bloomsbury is near The British Museum and Sir John Soane's House, and is close to the Holborn Tube station. The St. Paul's location is just a few blocks behind St. Paul's Cathedral. A tour of the cathedral, tea at Bea's, followed by a stroll across the Millennium Bridge to the Tate Modern sounds like a perfect afternoon! They offer a reasonably priced afternoon tea, which requires reservations. Here's the menu: BEA’S FULL AFTERNOON TEA MENU Freshly Baked Scone with Cornish Clotted Cream and Jam One of our delicious cupcakes Selection of mini meringues and fruity marshmallows Selection of mini Valrhona brownies, white chocolate blondies and our infamous killer brownies Selection of mini baguettes Pot of Loose Leaf Tea by Jing Tea Company (see our tea selection here) Bea’s Full Afternoon Tea £19.00 per person Champagne Afternoon Tea is £26.50 per person and includes a glass of Moet & Chandon
