No I would not recommend it as a replacement

Roborock E4 vs E5 I believe the mop pad is an excellent addition. The mop pad has its place, but it cannot replace the traditional method of scrubbing the floor on your hands and knees. The roborock s50 was designed primarily as a vacuum cleaner and operates admirably in that role; the "mop" is really a well-mounted bathroom washcloth that is automatically dampened by the water tank. I tested it on an uninterrupted tile floor (kitchen, hallway, dining room, mudroom) and it performed as expected. Consider mopping the floor with a damp cloth and doing a single wipe by hand. That is the function. No, I would not recommend it as a replacement for a full cleaning of my tile floors. However, the mop would be used for maintenance surface cleaning in between scrubs. If you're considering this product, the idea of sweeping, cleaning, or mopping undoubtedly doesn't excite you ( just like me). You could waste an hour of your day cleaning and sweeping, or you could kick back on the couch and let the vacuum do the job. It's mop pad probably works better as a dust mop on well-sealed hardwood floors, but I don't have any hardwood floors so I can't confirm this. Overall, the mop adds versatility to the roborock s50, but it will not convince you to abandon your mops and scrub brushes for comprehensive cleaning. I hope this does not prevent you from choosing a roborock s50 vacuum. My machine has been in my possession for two weeks, and I can confirm that it was meant primarily as a vacuum/sweeper. It performs an excellent job of collecting lint, dust, cat hair, cotton wood tree fuzzys, sand, and other detritus. I hope this answers your question.
It works far better than I expected. The vacuum rotates and moves in both directions in order to brush over the walls and furniture. As I did with my previous robot vacuum, I plan to use my regular vacuum cleaner once a month to do edging around obstacles. Please be aware that it will recognise carpets, but owing to the manual placement of the water tank, it will not prevent mopping on the carpet. If you do not want your carpets to be mopped, you may divide your space into zones with carpets, or you can use magnetic strips to correctly insulate your carpets to prevent mopping.
With the Roborock E5 Mop, You Can More Effectively and Efficiently Clean Your Floors. Methodical Cleaning Perfection With the Roborock E5 Mop, you can more effectively and efficiently clean your floors. Thanks to OpticEye, twin gyroscopes, and accurate internal mapping, as well as a z-shaped cleaning path, it recognises where it has been and what needs cleaning. Clean Your Whole House at Once. The robust battery of the Roborock E5 Mop enables it to clean for up to 200 minutes and 2,152 square feet on a single charge, allowing you to clean your entire home simultaneously.
You will receive the things listed below: One (1) E4 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, one (1) E4 Water Tank, one (1) Charging Dock, one (1) Power Cable, and one (1) User Manual. It includes a huge water tank and an area larger than 1,600 square feet for mopping. When the tank is filled with water and the water flow is controlled, the robotic vacuum cleaner vacuums and mops simultaneously, successfully removing microscopic particles that vacuuming alone would miss. Intelligent Navigation and Methodical Cleaning: Thanks to OpticEye, dual gyroscopes, and precise internal mapping, Roborock E4 cleans floors in a Z-shaped pattern quickly and effectively. Due to an array of infrared sensors and cliff-sensing sensors, the robot vacuum can evade heavy collisions and roll down cliffs.
