While there are a few ways to get to Jeonju these days, the free bus run by the government for foreigners is probably the best way to get there. I mean, it's free. Unfortunately, the bus is ONLY for foreigners and you will be required to show a foreign (=non-Korean) passport prior to boarding so think twice before you try to sneak on with your Korean friends. In addition, you are only allowed to book two tickets at a time. Originally when I reserved my tickets, I was planning to go with three friends. Two of us applied but unfortunately, only one of us was successful so two of my friends will be going on another day instead. Below is the information required for the free bus - if you're in Korea and fancy a change of scene be sure to check it out!
