As some of you may know, Sprint announced last Wednesday that their new CEO is Marcelo Claure, a Bolivian currently living in Florida. He was born in Bolivia, lived in multiple places in Latin America including Guatemala and Dominican Republic. He recieved a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Bentley University in Massachusetts in 1993. He worked at the Bolivia Football Federation as an International Marketing Manager before buying USA Wireless, expanding it, and selling it. He founded Brightstar, a cellular company with a focus on the Latin American market, in 1997 that has now expanded to over 50 countries. I'm really impressed by what he has accomplished so far and I am interested in seeing how he will lead Sprint Corporation now that he is the CEO. Especially since I currently have Sprint :)
