A common problem with bicycle paths is that they aren't bicycle paths. Most park paths are multi-use, so walkers, runners, people walking their pets, and various other distractions are all clogging the cycle path. Mix all of those things congesting the cycle path with cyclists going 25+ mph and you're gonna have a bad time. Here in the pictures is examples of a well done cycling path. It is separated at the most congested sections and comes together where the path is least used. Great!
