Vietnamese Bread — Have you tried it or not?
When it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, few dishes are as iconic as the famous Banh Mi. It is the quintessential Vietnamese sandwich and a snack you just can’t miss if you’re heading to the country. Whilst it is easy to get lost in the flavours of this delicious baguette, Banh Mi also has a fascinating history, which has cemented its importance in Vietnam’s evolving food scene. In this post, i tell you all about my love affair with Banh Mi and why it has earned the title, ‘King of Sandwiches’! Last year, I met a bunch of Aussies in Prague, and we bonded well. They were big foodies. I remember discussing different cuisines with them, and a big part of our conversation revolved around a mutual love for Vietnamese street food, and in particular for Banh Mi (Bánh Mì in Vietnamese). Vietnamese street food is some of the best in the world! Photo credit: Miroslaw Podyma This got me thinking about how much I enjoyed chowing down on a tasty Banh Mi during my time in Vietnam. Whether it was in northern Hanoi or southern Saigon (also known as Ho Chi Minh City); I remember eating Banh Mi every single day and loving it! In my opinion, Banh Mi is right up there with Pho as an essential Vietnamese food and you’d be crazy to miss it on your trip! What is Banh Mi? Banh Mi literally translates to bread, meaning a baked food containing wheat. However, this term has also become the go-to name for the famous Vietnamese sandwich, served in a French baguette with a mix of meats and vegetables. Bánh Mì Ingredients Ống ruột gà lõi thép bọc Inox Banh Mi can be prepared in a number of ways. My favourite variation is known as ‘ga nuong xa’, which is a fusion of grilled chicken, chilli and lemongrass. The crispy bread and crunchy vegetables blend so well with the meat — yum yum!Despite the number of variations, most Banh Mi stalls make the Vietnamese sandwich with the same core ingredients: Crusty French baguette The bread itself is made of wheat flour, but it can also contain rice flour. You usually have the option of getting your Banh Mi toasted. In my opinion, the Banh Mi must be toasted to acquire the best taste! Pâté A popular condiment in French cuisine, pâté is sometimes added to the Banh Mi, along with mayonnaise and chilli. Cuts of meat Most stalls sell Banh Mi with varying meat options including pork, beef or chicken. It is also possible to buy vegetarian Banh Mi too! Pickled carrots White radishes are often pickled with the carrots in a shredded form. This mix is called đồ chua in Vietnamese. Coriander Also sometimes referred to as cilantro, coriander is a herb that many love to hate. For most, the herb will have a tart citrusy taste but there is a small minority that taste dish soap when they eat it. If this is you, remember to ask for your Banh Mi without cilantro. They often pack Banh Mi full of coriander. Photo credit: David Kiwi Cucumber Fresh cucumber slices are often included in Banh Mi sandwiches. Maggi Seasoning Sauce Some places use Maggi seasoning sauce to help flavour the Banh Mi. Those from India are usually familiar with this sauce, however, Maggi is easy to buy in mainstream supermarkets across the world. Seasonal vegetables The reason these sandwiches stand out is because of the use of seasonal local ingredients. The stall owners shop twice a day and put fresh vegetables and herbs inside the dense baguettes. The freshness is real, unlike the food in some of the famous fast-food restaurants! How to Make Bánh Mì Making Banh Mi is probably simpler than you think. The key is finding high-quality ingredients and bread with the perfect soft interior and crunchy exterior. Check out the video below for a crash course in how to make Banh Mi with grilled pork! Banh Mi Goes Global Through speaking to my new-found Aussie friends, I learnt that many Vietnamese immigrants who moved to Australia popularised the sandwich through Asian bakeries across the states of New South Wales and Victoria.Vietnamese cuisine has also grown in popularity across North America and Europe. Whether it comes in the form of a trendy food truck at a music festival or in a high-end shopping mall, you’re sure never to be too far from Banh Mi! Banh Mi has become one of Vietnam’s most popular street foods! Photo credit: Lizzie Duffell *(taken at Banh Mi Queen in Hoi An). Cost of Bánh Mì in Vietnam Most stalls selling Banh Mi on the streets of Vietnam charge under one dollar for a sandwich. I don’t know any other food that gives you such high quality for that price! These are particularly great if you have overspent and are looking for cheap but filling food to conserve your travel budget!

Choose RTA Kitchen Cabinets and Set a Kitchen Remodeling Budget?
When it comes to remodeling your kitchen, budgeting is the first and foremost step. The average expense of remodeling any upscale kitchen stands at more than $80,000, which, by all means, is not everyone's doing. Plus, other significant factors come into play in the case of kitchen remodeling, starting with the cost of RTA kitchen cabinets which usually takes about the lion's share of expenses, followed by installation and maintenance costs. Here's a guide on how to go about determining the price of a kitchen cabinet that fulfills your needs and everything else that forms a part of your remodeling budget. Read on to find out. Apart from knowing your financial standing, it is also essential to consider factors like the tenure of your stay in a particular address. If you have plans to sell your current house or apartment shortly, say, for instance, in five years or so, then your kitchen remodeling should essentially be an initiative towards upgrading your real estate status quo. Take into consideration the investment for renovation, and spent only that much which can come back to you, post the property sell out. While real estate remains a determining factor for setting your kitchen remodeling budget, one's neighborhood also plays an important role. If you are in an area that's not too upscale or moderate, spending handsomely on redoing your kitchen will not help in the long run as you might not get back the same value when you choose to sell out your property. Furthermore, before you book the professionals for work, break down the costs and know them in detail to avoid confusion at the end. A good 25-30 percent of total expenses will comprise of the labor followed by maintenance and upkeep. Determining the cost of cabinets Owing to a wide range of materials that go into making cabinets attractive as well as functional, the cost rests anywhere between $2,500 to $24,000. The low price range usually comprises of those models that are ready ones, mostly company processed stock, and are easy to assemble. They are closely followed by the average quality cabinet that can be either company stocks or semi-customized. Come-of-age fully customizable cabinets are usually priced anywhere between $9000 and $13,000. Know that stock, semi-customized, and customized; all refer to the manufacturing process of kitchen cabinets. Stock cabinets generally refer to those that come in a fixed size and have little to no option for modification. On the other hand, the semi-customizable or fully customizable models offer unlimited options for modification. Nevertheless, it's not only the cost of kitchen cabinets that affects ones buying decision. A cabinet should be able to match up your space in the kitchen, offer optimum storage, and rank high on durability. Additionally, it should also match your taste and style. Cabinets are usually measured in linear feet, where the ends meet and add to the total length. Meeting unexpected costs Kitchen remodeling can be full of surprises, which gains increased possibility when working in an older house. As professionals start digging your walls, they might find how the old electrical wiring has gone kaput. Or maybe the floor right beneath the kitchen floor seeps water due to a leak. So, it's always a wise call to keep a part of your budget dedicated to meet such unexpected costs before you begin. Prioritize your renovation needs While we discuss meeting unexpected costs, it becomes all the way more important to set your renovation priorities right. Ask yourself. What is that one thing which you need like right now, above everything else? Is it the cost of kitchen cabinets or appliances? Or maybe the wall color for your kitchen. While you are at it, it is crucial to consider little things like crown molding, which adds to the look and feel of your kitchen. However, that's not always necessary. Little things as much as they matter one can also survive without the same and save money in the long run. Try to find out a cheaper but durable alternative for things and any chance of DIY where one doesn't have to hire a professional. Your payment mode Working out options that do not burn a hole in your pockets while looking to remodel your kitchen, payment mode is seemingly the most vital consideration. While there are multiple ways you can pay for remodeling your kitchen, equity loans are mostly preferred because they are tax-deductible. Other payment options include personal loans and loans against a retirement plan and refinancing. While some people may argue against other payment modes to paying with cash in hand, getting a loan at a low-interest rate to cover such expenses is the right call to avoid pulling money from an account that is receiving a reasonable return rate. Wrap up So, you see, with a little bit of careful planning, one can set up a befitting remodeling plan for one's kitchen without having to exceed their budget. Also, if you can predetermine the cost of a kitchen cabinet before you put things to work, it does help you save a lot of money as you don't end up spending on something that is too upscale or an unnecessary improvement to your kitchen.
How Can You Tell If a Wig Is Most Suitable For You?
Nowadays, people are no longer limited to the idea of "wigs are only sold to people with thinning hair". With the improvement of aesthetics, the value and charm of wigs are gradually being discovered. Here are five things you need to know before buying a 40 inch wig: 1. Hair color When choosing an HD lace wigs color, you first need to know what you are buying a wig for. For daily use, such as school and girls, office workers, the natural black wig is the best choice, if you prefer a colorful curly lace front wig, you can consider a dark wig, such as #1,#4,#6,#8,#99J... If you're a freelancer, like a Youtuber, beauty blogger, and not tied to a boss, you have more options than natural black, #613, #27, #Ginger, Highlight, colorful wigs... Just follow your heart! 2. Hairstyle Different hairstyles can give you different shapes. When choosing hair length and waves, it is more important to choose according to your preferences. First, length: If you like long hair, something between 26 and 32 inches is better; If you prefer shorter hair, consider a shorter 16- to 24-inch wig. If you want a shorter look, just try a short Bob wig, starting at 8-14 inches. Second, for hair waves: If you are busy with work or study (or a lazy girl like me) and don't want to spend more time on hair care, I suggest you order straight hair, Body Wave; Instead, try other textures, and loose deep waves are highly recommended! Then deep waves, curls, water waves... One thing you need to know when choosing hair length and wave is that the longer the inch, the more time it takes! The smaller the curl, the more need to care! 3. Lace Lace is the most important, choose your lace carefully, you need to know the following 2 tips: The first is the lace size you want, which directly determines the parting and style you can make. The most common lace sizes are full lace wigs, 13x6 and 13x4 lace front wigs, 6x6,5x5,4x4 lace closure wigs, more lace, more split space, and styles you can do! And the price is considerable, the lace size is land-arger, more expensive. Second is the type of lace, the best lace on the market is Swiss lace, all West Kiss hair uses good quality Swiss lace! Lace colors include light brown, medium brown, plain lace, transparent lace, and HD lace. Of course, the best for invisibility is HD lace because it is suitable for all skin tones!! Some of the new wig beginners may not be familiar with lace, if someone wants a wig without lace, there are also options for you: U/V section wig, headband wig, mechanical wig...... These wigs are lace-free, glue-free, beginner-friendly, and affordable!! 4. Density The most normal densities on the market are 180%, 200%, and 250%. For hair length, 180% or 200% density is recommended for 16-24 inches and 200% or 250 for 26-32 inches, while keeping it natural. The rule is that the longer the inches, the higher the density you need! 5. About the size The default wig size is medium and fits more than 95 percent of women. Because the wig comes with an adjustable elastic band inside, you can adjust it to your own size. But if you have any questions about the size, you can first have your head size measured and check the measurement value on the website, or ask our pre-sales colleagues to recommend a suitable size for you. Only the right wig in all aspects will make your image comprehensively improve. Life requires the courage to try, take the first step, make choices, and then gradually know where the better self is and what it will look like.
Diabetic Foot? What are the precautions to avoid amputation?
Why Diabetic foot care is important? I have heard many diabetic people told that they have removed a finger from their feet. There will be a blood circulation issue and nerve injury if diabetic levels are out of control. Your foot would experience issues as a result. Peripheral neuropathy, which causes loss of foot sensation, is common among diabetics. We can’t imagine losing any body part. Isn’t? Keeping your blood sugar levels in check and taking care of our body is therefore essential. Okay, how can we prevent harm to our feet before it happens? Why diabetes is affecting the foot? Two problems mainly affect diabetic patients’ feet. 1. Peripheral Vascular disease Diabetics are frequently impacted by this illness. Blood vessel narrowing is the cause of it. As a result, the blood supply to the arms, legs, brain, and other areas of the body is disrupted. It mostly affects the legs and feet. Leg discomfort, numbness, or cramps may be the only symptoms at first. When it progresses, patients can have pain while at rest. You could get foot wounds that are infected and cause you to need to have your toes or foot amputated. Even legs may need to be amputated on occasion. 2. Diabetic Neuropathy Your nerves will be harmed by diabetes if you have it for an extended period. If the nerves in your feet are injured, you will lose the feeling sense and be unable to feel heat, cold, or pain there. It is known as “sensory diabetic neuropathy” when a person lacks feeling. Due to neuropathy, a cut or sore on your foot could worsen and infect if you are unable to feel it. Your foot’s muscles may not function properly because the nerves that supply them with signals are damaged. There could be an improper alignment of the foot and more pressure on a specific area of the foot. Why do you need diabetic foot care? What are the associated problems? Here are some of the problems associated with diabetic foot. 1. Foot ulcers Foot ulcers are common in people having uncontrolled diabetes. Ulcers develop as skin tissue deteriorates and exposes the layers below. They can affect your feet down to the bones and are most common under your big toes and on the balls of your feet. 2. Corns Corn is a tough skin that typically grows between or close to a toe’s bones. It is created as a result of toe-to-toe friction. You can use a pumice stone to remove that tissue. Never cut or pluck with a sharp object. You can provide hot and cold soaks simultaneously. 3. Calluses It is also tough skin that is typically found on the sole. They result from unequal weight distribution, bad footwear, or any skin condition. Put padded insoles and pads in your shoes. Calluses can soften with medication. Avoid attempting to cut or scrape the callus off using a sharp object. 4. Blisters Blisters are formed because of the friction caused by shoes on the same spot of the foot. You should use proper diabetic shoes to avoid this issue. Apply antibacterial cream to prevent infections. 5. Fungal infections Fungal infections may discolor your nails. They may become yellow or brown. It may appear thick & brittle. Do not expose your feet to wetness for long period. It may trigger fungal growth. You should follow the doctor’s advice and take medicines. In some cases, you need to remove the damaged nail. 6. Dry & cracked foot skin You may have cracked skin on your feet as a result of the excessive dryness. The bacteria might make it their home and may cause athlete’s foot(fungus causing cracks, redness, and itching). Keep your foot wet by applying the appropriate moisturizer. Apply moisturizer outside the toe gaps. 7. BUnions A bunion, a painful bony bulge on the outside of the big toe, can be brought on by pressure from the way you walk or the form of your foot. Long durations of standing and wearing narrow shoes might exacerbate bunion pain. You might require surgery if bunion pads, toe spacers, and better-fitting shoes are ineffective. 8. Ingrown toenails Ingrown toenails are a frequent problem where the toenail’s corner or side grows into tender flesh. Pain, swollen, irritated skin, and occasionally an infection are the consequences. Usually, the big toe is impacted by ingrown toenails. You run a higher chance of developing ingrown toenail issues if you have diabetes or another illness that reduces blood flow to your feet. 9. Amputation People with diabetes are more prone to have a foot injury and be unaware of it until an infection has set in due to issues with blood flow and nerves. Amputation is frequently the best course of action when an infection cannot be cured, results in an infection, or when poor blood flow causes gangrene(bodily tissue death brought on by a significant bacterial infection or a lack of blood supply). SEE MORE ASSOCIATED FOOT ISSUES Diabetic foot care tips to avoid amputation 1. Manage your blood sugar levels People who have already undergone one amputation are more likely to experience another. You can reduce the risk of developing further diabetes complications by eating well, exercising frequently, managing your blood sugar, and giving up tobacco. Without sugar control, you cannot escape from branched complications. 2. Consult your doctor for a foot checkup For diabetic individuals, routine blood tests are commonplace. Ask your doctor to check your feet while you show him the reports. Use this routine to stop any serious issues from developing in the event of high blood sugar. 3. Check your feet every day Check your feet every day when taking a bath to see if you have any cuts, edema, or nail issues. Patients with high blood sugar levels won’t feel the discomfort from cuts and blisters since they will lose their ability to feel their feet. Therefore, you must regularly check your feet. Consult your doctor if there is a problem and take his instructions. 4. Wash your feet with warm water Always keep your feet clean. After coming home from the outdoors, wash your feet with warm water. As your feet cannot sense too much heat, check for water temperature before washing your feet. 5. Use mild soap and sponge wash your legs using mild soap or shampoo using a soft sponge. Daily foot care will result in softer, smoother, and problem-free skin. If not, you risk developing corns, warts, calluses, swollen feet, and aching, and burning feet, among other foot problems. 6. Pat your feet properly Dry your feet with a clean, dry towel after washing. Drying the spaces in between your toes can help stave off fungus infections. Give your feet a gently pat rather than rubbing to prevent irritations. 7. Proper care for nails If you need to cut your nails, do it when your nails are wet and smooth. It allows you to cut the nails easily. Do not cut them too short and cut them straight to avoid ingrown toenails. Use an emery board to get nail edges smooth. 8. Use good moisturizer Most diabetic patients have dry foot issues. It is due to the inability of your body to produce enough moisturizer for your foot because of nerve damage. Use a good moisturizer, lotion, oil, or petroleum jelly to smoother your dry foot. It can help you to get relief from itching, or cracking. But do not apply moisturize the areas between your toes. It may lead to fungal growth. 9. Wear Socks while sleeping Diabetes patients run the risk of developing circulation issues, which can lead to chilly hands or feet. Frequent blood sugar elevations can induce artery narrowing and a decreased blood supply to the tissues, which can result in cold feet. So wear dry, clean, diabetic socks while sleeping to avoid your feet getting cold at night. 10. Choose proper diabetic socks Try to use diabetic socks rather than regular socks. Why wear diabetic socks? It helps to cushion your feet by reducing friction and thus preventing blisters and ulcers. Gives little compression which aids in good blood circulation. The material is breathable and lightweight. It does not squeeze the feet. Designed to suit diabetic people 11. Do not pluck the corns by yourself Diabetes patients are more likely to develop corns and calluses if they neglect their feet. Avoid making the error of picking them by yourself. Rough handling could result in serious issues because diabetics’ wounds don’t heal in a matter of days. Always seek medical advice and follow recommended procedures. 12. Never walk without shoes or slippers READ MORE
How Can You Tell The Difference Between a Synthetic And Human Hair Wig?
The difference between synthetic and human hair HD lace wigs is the fibers. The materials between them are different, and the wearing effect is also different. Please read the full text for specific details. What is a human hair wig? Human Brazilian hair wigs come in two categories: processed hair and raw hair. The hairs are kept together to ensure that the cuticle is facing in the same direction as when growing from the head. It ensures the most natural appearance as well as easier brushing. When hair cuticle reverses, they are more likely to break. Advantages: 1. Modeling versatility. It can be curled, permed, straightened, or colored at any time, just like natural hair. However, before replacing a human hair melt lace wig, you should consult a stylist first. They will be able to teach you the best techniques for styling and maintaining your wig. 2. The texture. Human hair wigs are the same as the real hair and come in a variety of textures so you can always find your natural hair to match. 3. A long life. If properly cared for, a human hair wig worn daily can last two to three times longer than a synthetic wig for a year or more. 4. Natural look. The human hair wig feels great and looks very natural. Disadvantages: 1. Maintenance: regular cleaning, deep conditioning, and re-modeling are required to maintain its natural luster. 2. Cost: Because they're harvested from human hair, they're usually more expensive. 3. Weight: Human hair wigs feel heavier than synthetic wigs of similar length and style. 4. Weather: Just like your natural hair, human hair wigs can become frizzy, soft, or dry depending on the weather. 5. Fading: The color of a wig can oxidize or fade when exposed to light. What is a synthetic wig? Synthetic hair wigs are made of plastic fibers, usually a type of nylon. The quality and properties of these fibers vary by manufacturer and wig style. High-quality synthetic fibers will retain their luster, color, and shape, not low-quality fibers. Advantages: 1. Easy to care for: Synthetic wigs require almost no maintenance. Simply wash, dry, and shake them, and the wig will return to its original shape. 2. Weather resistance: Synthetic wigs retain their style regardless of the weather. 3. Versatility: Because of the low cost, you can buy multiple synthetic wigs to experiment with different styles, cuts, and colors. Cost: Synthetic wigs are relatively cheap. Disadvantages: 1. Unnatural: Some economical or inexpensive synthetic wigs may have an unnatural sheen. 2. Longevity: Synthetic wigs and headwear don't last as long as human hair wigs, usually lasting 4-6 months. 3. Low versatility: Synthetic wigs cannot be straightened or crimped with heated styling tools unless they are specially designed as "heat-friendly" synthetic wigs. 4. Do not change color: Recoloring is not recommended for synthetic wigs, and traditional hair colors do not adhere to the fibers. 5. Air permeability: The air permeability of synthetic wigs is less than that of human hair lace wigs. They are hot and can cause irritation and discomfort in warm weather. West Kiss Hair's wigs are made of 100% human hair, which fits your skin very naturally, so you don't have to worry about the risk of being discovered.
