Hyuga barged into Asahina's office, "So everything was your doing?" Asahina laughed like a mad man and finally admitted that he was behind Hyuga's downfall. Asahina made fun of Hyuga for not noticing anything until now. Asahina proclaimed proudly, "It was ME who brought you to this state."
Makoto saw the news while on her way to the final interview for her new job but hesitated while thinking about Hyuga. But she decided to go for the interview after all.
Yamagami explained to Hyuga the value of his share which he could take with him when he leaves the company. Hyuga questioned Yamagami when was it that Asahina turned against him. Yamagami said he doesn't know since he cant even read what Asahina is thinking. Yamagami told Hyuga Asahina now has the largest share in the company and that Hyuga only has Personal File project left in his name. Hyuga told Yamagami he'd never give up on personal file.
Hyuga tried to access his Personal File project but access is denied! All the files are being deleted in from of him. Hyuga is at lost about what to do and yanked all the plugs to his PC out in frustration.
Everyone in the company can sense what's going on but acts like nothing happened. Hyuga went to get coffee and asks "What's going on?" Yasuoka said, "What do you mean what's wrong? You suddenly declared you're gonna quit the company." Hyuga told them he's gonna start a new company with the new Personal File project. Everyone is surprised/excited but Asahina appeared, "How about that? That's just like Hyuga Tohru."
The employees of course have no idea that Asahina turned evil. Asahina declared he'll reform the company. "The future is for us to create and you guys can definitely make it happen." The employees get motivated by him and no one pays attention to Hyuga who is sitting in a corner :( .
Makoto saw all of this. What will she do?? >__<
Opening theme. I've been putting in on replay on my iphone ^o^
Hyuga is packing up his stuff and Makoto comes in. She offers to help him pack up but he just tell her to "keep your hands off" to which she apologizes. Hmm I wish Hyuga were a bit more gentle to her. He asks about her new company and she cheerfully told him it went well. Hyuga, "Then? (what do you intend to do)" Makoto told him she plans to accept their offer. Hyuga indifferently said, "Good for you" but he's obviously disappointed. Makoto just left.
The employees are talking about how great it is that Asahina is now the new president and how inhumane Hyuga's reign was. Some of the girls even said Asahina is cool and reliable. Our favorite trio sneaked away to discuss what to do. They wanna follow Hyuga then suddenly Hyuga appeared with a big bright smile and told them to come with him (to make a new company). Then he grabbed Makoto who walked by and headlocked her saying she'll come to! Love that scene!
Makoto says she doesn't know about that and Hyuga blocked her mouth with his hand lol. Makoto is struggling (this is so cute and funny). The trio is puzzled. So Hyuga just pretended like he didn't care earlier. How cute~
Hyuga told them with the sweetest smile ever, "You guys are indispensable to Personal File project. I need you." With just those words, the trio is totally mesmerized and voluntarily agrees to come with him. Yasuoka hesitates but declares that if Hyuga can say his name then he'll follow him. Hyuga is taken back a bit after hearing this. Here comes the real challenge! Hyuga laughs awkwardly. He should smiles more often. This ep is filled with his cute smiles!! The trio looks at him with eyes full of expectation. Hyuga confidently said, "You are…Yamaoka-kun!!!" Everyone failed to their despair haha.
Yasuoka: Ahh this is too bad. Guess I can't go now…
Hyuga: Sorry…
Yasuoka: I'm just kidding! I'm definitely following you! What are you saying? I'm ok with Yamaoka! (love this guy!)
Yasuoka suggested they do a farewell party for Hyuga and maybe use that to pull along some more people hehe.
Makoto came to ask Yoko to prepare Hyuga's farewell party.
Yoko: So tomorrow is you last day?
Makoto: Yes…. *sad face*
Yoko *laughs*: You're so easy to read. Are you lonely?
Makoto: Oh no!
Back to the company, Yasuoka tries to recruit people to follow but got rejected by one of the cute girls.
Hyuga left the office. Asahina waited for him at the entrance. Hyuga scanned his ID and walked out but Asahina asked him to give the ID back. He really wants Hyuga to cut all ties with NI!!! Hyuga tossed it to him without saying anything. Asahina, with a serious look on his face, "Goodbye"
Yoko discussed with her rival chef about Hyuga's farewell party tomorrow. He sounded a bit jealous there.
Makoto is at a soccer filed eating her dinner and waiting for her friend. She talks to her friend about Hyuga asking "If one day your own company is taken away from you and your position is given to someone else, it must be really painful right?" Makoto remembers Hyuga's face and Asahina's look at that time.
Next day, everyone is preparing for the party. Yasuoka told Yamagami he doesn't have anything to do/and can't do anything if Hyuga is not here. Yamagami mumbles, "A company without Hyuga huh?"
Makoto come to Asahina office since today is her last day. He said she did well and apologized for the change in company and blah blah. Makoto asked if he has something on his mind which surprised him a little. Makoto obviously doesn't know what's going on yet.
Makoto: You two will continue to create amazing things right? Now it's just a new beginning right?
Asahina *all of the sudden*: Won't you work here?
Makoto is surprised
Asahina: Ah..no…I was thinking about you working here before. You don't have to answer it now. Take your time and think about it
Now he even tries to take away Hyuga's woman!??!! What is he thinking?!!?
Hyuga came to NI. The security guard looked up his name and surprised to see he is THE Hyuga. Hyuga commented on how it's the first time they actually talked. Security guard handed him visitor ID asked, "Why (did you leave)…?" Hyuga just smiled and didn't say anything.
Makoto is at the party but depressed because her prince hasn't arrived yet. Finally, prince Hyuga arrived in his casual getup (why do I suddenly think of Hana Yori Dango?).
Yasuoka, his loyal assistant, announced that Hyuga has arrived. They started playing a video titled the history of NI that starts back in 2004. The music makes me wanna cry already!!! The video is of the photos back when NI first started. Everyone said how young Hyuga looked back then. Btw, Asahina hasn't arrived which is not surprising to me.
Oh dear, then Opening theme in English remix started. Hyuga is red with tears. Yoko handed him a glass of orange. She felt guilty for what her brother did. Someone asked where Asahina is and wonders why he's not here.
Yoko handed Makoto a glass of tea and congratulated on the completion of her internship. Makoto told Yoko she really admired those two (Asahina and Hyuga) and that's why it will be ok. Yoko didn't say anything and just left.
The video ended. Hyuga is about to do a speech. He started, "8 years ago, I was like this (pointed to the video screen with him and Asahina standing in front of NI wall…." So basically he said he had a good time at the company but had to leave. But he'll definitely have Personal File project kick off and even though he doesn't know for sure what will happen but he's looking forward to it. Then about NI, of course he wasn't the only one who built it up but there's also Yamagami (he pointed to him). And…he wanted to say Asahina but his lips couldn't speak the word (his acting is superb!). So he decided to say and many others. He was on the verge of crying and you can see it because his eyes are so red. He started, "I…" with his head down, he struggled to speak Asahina's name but didn't reveal the awful deeds Asahina did. So in the end he just thanked Asahina. Only Yoko knows about the truth.
When the trio was about to declare that they're gonna follow Hyuga then the press conference with Asahina in came on. Everyone is watching the TV when Asahina announced a joint project with JI tech which is Personal File!!! A reporter asked isn't that project Hyuga's? OMG, you wouldn't believe what Asahina said: "Hyuga has nothing to do with Next Innovation and Personal File project." And he said this while looking straight at the camera as if he's saying it to Hyuga.
Hyuga is shocked. The trio wondered what they can do now that the Personal File has been taken away from them. Then someone noticed Asahina walked in with a bouquet and evil smile on his face.
Hyuga glared at him. Asahina came and spilled hypocrite words like thanks for everything. It was with you that we could do the things we did and so on. Then he handed him the bouquet and patted him on the shoulder. Hyuga took the flower and told others "Let's go" But the hesitated! And said sorry! Hyuga laughed and yelled "Yasuoka!!" Ehh did he betray Hyuga????
Yasuoka started crying and apologized saying he'll stay at NI! Hyuga is shocked. Asahina is surprised (but looks like he pretends to be) and said what is this about? Tohru Hyuga you're sneaky. He came close to Hyuga and whispered, " Without me there's nothing you can do." Hyuga went crazy and shouted at Asahina. He said the office design, the chair and everything is what Hyuga himself chose. Who do you think made this place? He started shouting at the employees as well. "I'm the one who created Next Innovation!!"
Asahina: It's enough already. This is not like Hyuga Tohru
Makoto is filled with tears. Hyuga looks at Makoto then at the screen. He took the projector and threw at NI wall which made mark on the part Asahina wrote "If it's you…(you can do it)"
It's like the end of the world for Hyuga. He dragged himself out of the office. Asahina started instructing people to clean up the mess. He came to Yoko and asked to warm up the food. Yoko slapped him. Asahina didn't react much and just said," I'm counting on you" like nothing happened. Yoko: "I'll do it. Because it's my job." Asahina gave her a creepy smile
Makoto chased Hyuga to the elevator, "I'll go with you!" Hyuga yelled, "Don't come here!"
Hyuga: I wonder why….I don't want you to see me like this right now.
He pressed the close button. Makoto came to it and quickly
pressed the button for next elevator. She was about to run down the stairs then Asahina appeared, "It's the 25th floor. It's impossible if you take the stairs."
Makoto: Why? Why did you destroy something so precious to yourself?
Asahina: Huh?
Makoto: You treasure Hyuga-san more than anyone else, don't you?
The elevator opens. Makoto walks toward it.
Asahina: If you take that elevator then what? Didn't he tell you to not come near him?
Makoto: I don't know.
Asahina grabs Makoto's arm, "Don't go." She gently pushes his hand off.
Makoto: I'm thankful for your offer but I'll have to decline it.
Asahina: Didn't I tell you you didn't have to reply right away?
Makoto: I'm sorry but I already decided on my feelings. (somnia: Kyaa!! You go girl!!!) I like Hyuga-san. Thank you for everything.
She said confidently and bowed to Asahina. He's about to stop her but the door closes on him. Hah, served him right.
Makoto ran with all her might outside and just in time to see Hyuga about to leave on his bike. He didn't hear her calling out for him "Wait!" She jumped out in front of his bike! Love makes people go crazy!!!
Hyuga is surprised, "What the hell are you trying to do??!"
Makoto: I want to go with you! I definitely won't regret it! I already rejected the offers, the pharmaceutical company, and Asahina-san's. I declined all of them! Hahaha (Ok that's her laughing not me lol)
Makoto: You don't want to be seen by me? Suit yourself. I want to go with Hyuga Tohru!
Awsome scene!!! And miwa's song plays at the exact moment too, " I want to believe~~"
Hyuga annoyingly (but we all know he's doing the happy dance inside) said, "Get on!"
Makoto: Yes, sir!
Hyuga and Makoto stopped in front of NI building. Then Makoto suddenly say, "Do you wanna take a picture?" Hyuga, "Huh?!" Makoto: "The video of NI history was great, so let's take a picture"
Makoto: Today is not the end of anything. It's the day of a new beginning. So let's take a picture to commemorate this. And I will be in this. Fufufufu (aww so cute!!)
Hyuga: Don't fufufu me
Makoto helped him take of his helmet and he helped with hers. They took a picture. Hyuga looked at NI building.
Hyuga: This was my everything.
Makoto: You're right *smiling*
Hyuga grabbed Makoto's arms and made sure they're wrapped around his waist. (me: *squealing*!!!).
Hyuga: Let's go.
Makoto: Alright!
Makoto and Hyuga are beaming with happiness. Makoto hugged Hyuga tightly with a bright smile. They drove away as the sun is setting.
