@pixiedust, I'm sure it works the same. If you have smaller hands, you probably are shorter and need fewer calories than the large-handed person who is tall. Of course, if your hands aren't in proportion to your body, it could be a problem!
Very helpful, @nokcha! I knew about the nuts, but all the others are new to me. It really helps when you're eating in a restaurant so you can estimate how much you should eat and how much you should take home:)
An excellent reference @nokcha! I wonder though, does this vary greatly if you have particularly large or small hands? It seems like a safe guide for individual diets, but I've always been curious about. Sorry if that's a silly question!
