This video puts together timelapses of the aurora australis with the winter sky at the Rothera Research Station, Antarctica! Usually, it doesn't fall in the auroral zone, but a couple of recent coronal mass ejections caused a minor geomagnetic storm on 27-29th August, and with a rare high pressure system overhead, moonless skies showcasing the aurora appeared! The videographers stayed out in 15-20C below 0C temperature to get these shots! Amazing!
