Seoul-based digital artist and sculptor Kyuin Shim creates monochromatic, mannequin-like figures whose forms are transformed in fascinating, sometimes unsettling, ways. Shim's latest series 흑흑 (translated from Korean as both "black black" and "the sound of crying") portrays a collection of black figures whose bodies are frozen in various states of deterioration. I agree with @flymetothemoon that these are a little spooky but they're really powerful!
These are incredible, and I definitely agree that they're unsettling. I love the emotion that's captured in each piece.
This is REALLY cool. I'd love to see an exhibit full of these someday.
