Ingrid Sundberg, a writer and children’s book illustrator, created a very useful infographic chart for anyone struggling with color names. The writer says that she loves to collect words that can help give her stories variety and depth. Although intended for writers, this chart can be used by almost anyone who works with color or description: graphic and fashion designers, painters, make-up artists, brides-to-be, etc. It’s useful for naming the exact desired color of wedding and bridesmaid dresses or to simply have a more diverse color vocabulary than red, green and blue.
