Samsung to Stop Selling Laptops in Europe
It's going well for Samsung in terms of mobile sales, but not so much their laptops. Samsung released this statement: "We quickly adapt to market needs and demands. In Europe, we will be discontinuing sales of laptops including Chromebooks for now. This is specific to the region – and is not necessarily reflective of conditions in other markets. We will continue to thoroughly evaluate market conditions and will make further adjustments to maintain our competitiveness in emerging PC categories." Do you think the rise of mobile use is the cause of this? I think, perhaps, Samsung is deciding to invest more time and money in the mobile market because there is an increase of users in this area. What do you think? Are PCS one day going to be obsolete? Will mobile devices be our main tech gadget in our everyday lives? I can't imagine not having my laptop. I'm a samsung fan, but everytime I've looked at their laptops I've never really been very impressed. I tend to buy Lenovo
I have an android phone and a macbook. I guess I'm exactly the kind of person that drove Samsung from Europe :/
@hikaymm same here, I tend to stick with levovo, acer, dell, or hp products @caricakes no worries :) I'm actually excited to see if this means they will focus on other great products in the future !
