the organizations you're delivering to already are regulated with the care quality commission you just have to ensure that staff members are compliant and that they are competent and that they're qualified to do the job that's set out within the service that you're going to be providing now that's recruitment now the second type could be for example care agency with a care agency it could be a home care agency where you are regularly regulated with the care quality commission and you have gone undergone an inspection you've met the standards to provide a managed service you will need a registered manager or you could be the registered manager providing that you are qualified and competent to do the job that is for the registered manager position you'll be the regulated care provider the individual for example you will then be providing care in the community to individuals own homes it could be adults children and within that home it is not regulated so that's why you must be regulated and you are also able to provide staff members who are managed by the registered manager who is qualified and competent to do the job you'll be doing certain tasks that the staff members will be doing personal care or support or helping with preparing a meal shopping etc for example so it's deciding whether you want to provide temporary staff members temporary staff members can do up that you need to look at for your business to be successful as well so today we're on week five it's about communication OK and how do you communicate with the potential client you must practice and be articulate in your thoughts and put them into words we're so busy being business and I got that from les let not Les Brown from TD Jakes the pasta and he mentioned something he said was so busy being busy instead of turning our business into our business OK change your business into your business and that was by TPG pasta OK communication is different now from when it was so many years ago there's so many forms years ago you picked the phone up years ago you go and see someone and that all there'd be a letter for example and that was it now my goodness we've got e-mail we've got uh we've got telephone conversations we've got face to face visits we've got social media where we're communicating with people we've got zoom we've got we've got audio we've got YouTube we've got lots of ways that we're communicating with potential clients so look at what forms that you can use to enable you to communicate effectively with organizations give me some hearts give me some love let me know that you're hearing this and that you're enjoying this as well just so that I can see and so the purpose of your organization is for you to solve your clients problem OK this is what you need to have first of all when you contact in that client that you're there to solve their problem not your needs first OK they've got a problem they need your help OK care providers whether it's a care home whether it's private hospitals whether it's NHS whether it's governmental hospitals whether it's governments in the US or the UK wherever it is around the world look at what their needs are first and look at meeting those needs first OK because that's the thing that you've got to switch it around think about how can I best serve you today where I am the only logical choice for you to use my service for example OK so doing this you'll meet their needs familiarize yourself with the clients environment OK look at what look at what you can help them with who is your ideal client is it care homes is it hospitals the communication is going to be slightly different according to who it is that you're going to be approaching you could be looking at approaching a very busy government organization it's going to be very fast-paced the conversation that you've got to get with the program they haven't got time to be flapping around they want they wanna hear what they need you what they're looking for from you they need to hear that from you that you can solve their problem OK so look at doing your research first OK before you approach them look to see what job adverts they've got online see what vacancies they've got online and then you can look at you know going to their website so that getting to know them so that when you're communicating with them it's a lot more stronger believe me I've done that my clients have done that you go to their website you look at what vacancies they've got you do research go on their social media and see what they're like and then you approach them according to that so then what you can do is you can go on social media for example IE Facebook LinkedIn that way you'll know who it is that you're gonna ask for because you know back in the day you didn't know who it was you've been arts for so you'd be ringing sometimes blindly not realizing who it is that you're speaking to what they're like because if you've got a picture or you see someone like if you can communicate with someone when you go visit them you see them right so the communication is a lot more stronger whereas when you pick the phone up you don't know what that person who that person is what they look like what the personality is I'm just gonna grab my tea so you don't know what they look like you don't know you know who they are what their personality is possibly so this way you can get to know them and then you will ask for that person so when you call you ask for their name straight away this straightaway is unit advantage you know that person's name you know what they're like so straight away it's going to be like oh you must know this person because you've asked for their first name you know try not to be so stuffy you know I you know mention the person's name can I speak to such and such and then there'll be more friendly towards you because you mentioned someone's first name so now that you know you're asking for what they look like and the details about any post activity any comments or likes that they've done it will put you in a stronger way your communication will feel a lot better coming from you and the communication that you get from that person will instantly should create some sort of a positive warm cool rather than it be a cold call OK so your tone and your confidence will be much better and this is coming your your tone in your confidence will be a lot better once you know all of this information when you're calling someone rather than someone that you've never seen or spoken to before or never got any idea about what this person is like as a as the person you want them to give you work from your connection will be a lot stronger and especially if you can try and connect with them on LinkedIn and I'll be going into training about how you communicate with organizations on LinkedIn and social media for example find out so much information describe my water first enjoying this let's see if I've you I really do so you wanna see if they they're on Facebook first of all and whether they have a company page OK which really they should have everybody has got a company page if they haven't there's a problem OK OK so get the feel of the company and what their goals are what their mission and vision is and what their service type and find out if they've got any specialisms that they provide OK so you wanna work on at least 10 for the week so that you're creating critical strategies that you will implement before the phone call OK you need to do your research OK before you start picking the phone up so really plan it really well because if you do this then within that month you really should get some some appointments scheduled you should get some contract scheduled as well OK you'll have a better relationship OK you'll feel so much more better when you connect with them in this way especially when you're speaking to your ideal client so now that you've done your research it's now time to act by using your communication skills and remember to listen to what they say remember to check the following points below so listen to what they're saying to you they don't just go speaking straight over them Oh yeah I know what you mean yeah yeah no let them finish let them talk and let them say what they have to say and then you then listen to it and repeat back to them so that you're getting a clear understanding for you OK so look at are they advertising and looking for staff members ask them questions about what type of staff are they looking for now hope everyone's got a pen and paper and write in this down or at least typing it on your laptop for example computer right now OK remember that all clients have different needs not all clients are the same everyone is different some provide different types of services some are providing low needs some are medium needs some are high needs and some are all three so really do your research on your client these strategic in your approach so you've got that connection K find out where they are struggling from how you can best help them so you basically want to say will it take in order are you to work with my organization right try and get that conversation in as well then that way you're you're looking at what their needs are and that you're also making notes of those needs so remember see whether they're appetizing for staff so when you do call you're calling regarding the vacancy that they have second ask questions about what type of staff are they looking for you've seen the ads but possibly but really what is the specification what type of stuff meant because even though someone may say oh we're recruiting for healthcare workers yeah what needs are the clients so that's where you do the research by looking at their website to see what levels of needs that they are provided dragged by water there then focus on the goal OK look at where you are now to where you are going in your business where do you wanna be what are you willing to sacrifice to get to that goal to lead a future legacy do you want freedom to break the ******* of working for you some of you may be working for an employer OK some of you may be even in a 7 figure business but you are so busy working in your business rather than on it or you possibly got very very large contract that is taking a lot of energy from your organization that you are feeling as if you are held in the way that you don't want to be tapped OK so where do you really wanna spend your time and energy and that's so where do you really wanna spend your time and energy on your business you want to implement and keep focused and if you are not so for example I'm gonna mention this right we go to work every day don't we to get paid for those of you that are working you go to work to get paid for example at the end of the month or end of the week yeah you go into your business as a business owner so that you are being paid your staff are paid you're paid pain everything for example OK so you as the business owner need to go into your business every day to think about what can I do today to get paid for my company OK what what is your margins that's another thing that's another training program that will be going through what margin is it that you want to receive in your business OK when you go in there everyday the first thing you do like when you wake up in the morning for those of you that are an interesting read Bible for example OK when you go into your business what are you going to do that is a routine like some of you go to the gym every day and because you want to have a healthier body your business needs to be healthy as well but you also want business quality of life you want to have business which is not draining your energy your time so that you can be the best version of yourself in your business your staff members have been paid a good rate because you're being paid would rate and everyone and the client is happy so you know focus on what your goals are you can do your short term goals you medium and your long term but keep focus so like I said we're so busy being busy that we forget about our business and go from busy to business that's what you need to do change that into your business OK I want to share with you the language that I and my 7 figure clients have used I've worked with large organizations using persuasion techniques and communications used in an innovative strategy I'm just gonna drink my tea that's cold So what is your strategy what techniques are you going to be using get business in for your organization communication is key to this so great communication is listening to clients needs if not talking over them about what you can do for them it's about them telling you what you can help them with for example OK no one will tell you how to do this according to how things are now OK so right out in a journal and practice what you want and how to communicate to work with organization this works it really does work I must say it is not a get rich quick scheme this is no cab business is not a get rich quick scheme just wanna say this to to go to anyone that's thinking it is because it isn't it's hard work it's passion it's love the people that need out there and I'm really passionate when I say that hey it is not a get rich quick scheme OK but you have to learn how to communicate effectively in order to work with organizations OK it is I want to like next week I'm going to be doing training which is to do with patients OK I just wanna say this some organisations they want things fast and quick and you're missing out you're actually missing out on something really big by not waiting we have enabled some clients to get things in a fashion which is 3 to to six we can get things which are fast but we can get larger things which are sort of three to six months through this method hey and sometimes people are willing business owners aren't willing to wait they want things quick and fast and they actually miss something that is really big that they could achieve hey this is part of the communication it takes time to build relationships that sometimes it will take someone 57 times to hear your voice or even be to speak get to speak to them before they actually give you any work because they want to get to know you they're they're thinking oh I'm busy I'm dealing with this agency already that's giving me work but they're not happy with that agency but they're just putting up with them because it's starting a whole new relationship with someone new that they've got to start again get trained and get them to know you for example but be patient because it will come and I just want to say that to all of you OK so we're talking to each other and not at each other for example communication is key to working with the organizations that you want to work with you wanna talk to each other not at each so we can help with we can help people to learn what organizations need right now and that is by listen to what your market needs by listening to what they are worried about what needs you can solve and I know it can be scary at times but believe you believe you make for example you will see what heights that you can go to by doing this skill daily practice this daily every single time when you start work practice this look Steve's appetite for jobs see who they are on on social media whether it's LinkedIn whether it's tick tock whether it's Facebook whether it's YouTube see what this organization is like get to know that that when you're ringing them you've got a connection and you're gonna put them at ease because they're gonna fill your energy even though it could be through the phone or same or whatever they will steal your energy negative right like this person but they know me they get me they know what my needs are and although some of you may be doing temporary think about the permanent position look at the temporary positions you can help them fill as well as the permanent position that you can help them OK look at the long term need and let that organization know that you're there for the long term you're not there just for a quick adopt temporary position you know they you wanna have a long relationship with an organization and this is the way to do it and to get more clients on a monthly basis don't just stick with the ones you've got always keep increasing always keep increasing you can e-mail them about the vacancy if you haven't got them on the phone then follow up with an e-mail you can even reach them on LinkedIn but there's a way to do it and you'll talk about that in the trainings as well so care providers a lot of you care providers are just working with one type of organization I government contracts everyone's like government contracts government contracts and you leaving money on the table basically you know expanding your reach and you're just working in one zip code for example or town beat national beat international look at these organizations not just government ones look at private sector ones they need you as well some of our clients are just focusing purely on private finance and they get more work from that because I suppose a lot of people are focusing on government contracts the private sector and kind of being push to one side it's not so relevant so look at what your reach is because it's not you doing the work it's just staff members that will be going out delivering the service so it doesn't matter if you're in one town what's the next town for example and just keep pushing pushing and expanding out and in the end you will have multiple branches around where you are for example OK so you don't want to just be marked in one area that can be your short term goal but look at what your long term goals connect with other healthcare organizations and become effective of what they have going on 2K these are some of the techniques needed to sustain a successful healthcare business whether you are doing home care whether you're doing medical staff and whether you're doing nursing agency whether you're doing recruitment agency staffing agency senior living supported living accommodation what techniques are you using to get your communication across to get new business in for your organization there's a telephone script that you need to really be thinking about how you're going to be increasing itself start the conversation by talking to the player senior website or may have seen you on LinkedIn for example try and build that connection first before you go straight into the reason for your call for example so it's not just about what you say is about how you say it so tonality might be right to get the message across to the person or company that you want to work with you wanna pause and listen to them and let them explain what they need and then wait and repeat what they have said so you kind of mirror it let me just get this right I understand your needs from what you just said to then you write this down so that your brain is taking it in writing down what their needs are and they're also seeing let them know that you're writing this down it also seemed that you're listening because that's a way for them to see your you are listening not just with your ears but you're also right to put step so we all need mentors to help us expand our reach of fulfillment and become the highest expression of ourselves in our business and This is why I've created this group so that we thousands that are on that list look at breaking it down and reaching 10 people at a time all week OK so this is a process that will help you to understand who your ideal clients are relationships are your resources be strategic in your approach to your vision you need systems planning and marketing and a lot of care providers aren't marketing their business for their health their business and I'm not talking about getting marketer out there and no offense to the marketers out there they're brilliant and wonderful but you need a specialist marketer to enable you to healthcare marks to to enable you to be effective in your business starting my my phones are bleeding and and all sorts so think about what is your systems what systems you have in place what planning do you have and what marketing do you have in place so look at the needs that are difficult to cover what clients needs in terms of the organization where are they struggling what needs is it difficult for them to get cover it could be the location could be that it's rural it could be that the needs that the high level needs like complex care or or continuing care for example that the needs are high that they need specialized staff and you can provide them with that OK so your business solution what is it is to help the organization with their problem this is the mindset to take responsibility and you can be like an eagle and sore and see multiple streams of income and that's the outcome that you want for your organization by having a goal and focusing on what is and whom you want to work with we tend to go into to these businesses healthcare businesses and we haven't really spit out goals so then we just firefighting we're going in with firefighting we're not being strategic in our approach and this is time for you to be strategic in your approach and This is why I've created these groups so that I can give you the training to help you with your business because as business owners it can be quite
