“Sea Fog” to compete for the foreign language submission at the Oscars
The first movie debut of JYJ’s Yoochun, “Sea Fog”, is up for an award in the foreign-language film submission for the Academy Awards from South Korea. The selection was made by a special committee of the Korean Film Council (KOFIC). The movie has also screened in two biggest film festivals, including Cannes and Toronto International Film Festivals. It has also attracted a lot of interests from the international world as it has sold distribution rights to Japan, France, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore even before it was released in Korea. After the official release in its home country, the movie has surpassed one million viewers in six days.
