5 really cool games based on the works of the legend himself, J. R. R. Tolkien (including The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings). I hadn't even heard of a couple of these and they would really cool! You can check the article for full game details c: 1) Lego Lord of the Rings The entire line of Lego games is genius, super fun and great for all ages, and LOTR is just as great as you'd expect. It's got great single player, and co-op, and it also has a lot of fun highlights from the story. 2) Lord of the Rings Online The massive world Tolkien created is really well suited to something like an MMO where you have the ability to really explore the area. It was released as a pay to play but it's completely free not and still awesome. 3) The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age So the story for this is actually really really bad, but still a lot of fun if you're into mechanics. With movie/book games the mechanics usually suffer in exchange for making the story good, and this is the exact opposite which some people might not like but is actually still fun. 4) The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Basically the fun action version of the story where you get to play as various characters and have a lot of fun with it. 5) The Hobbit This came out way before I was born but it sounds really cool (I like retro games, I'm a nerd XD ). It's a text adventure which I know not everyone likes but I think it would work really well for a Tolkien game bc so much of what makes Tolkien great is the descriptions which are text anyway!
