One of Britain’s greatest gardens with stunning views was started in 1875. Bodnant’s fabulous plant collections have their origins in a century of plant hunting. The garden has grand terraces with rose gardens, lily pools, flower beds and more. These lead to a shrub borders with plants from around the world, and towering conifers that add beautiful shape! The famous 55m long laburnum arch is a shimmering tunnel of golden blooms in late spring and there’s always something to see from rhododendrons in spring to the inspiring Winter Garden. Created by five generations of one family, this 32-hectare (80-acre) garden is superbly located, with spectacular views across Snowdonia. If going by train, get off at Llandudno Junction! Bodnant Garden is the paw-fect place for walking your dog, with interesting sights, sounds and smells. You can bring your dog: from 5pm on Wednesdays, May to August inclusive for a summer evening stroll 10am - 3.30pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, November to February inclusive for a brisk winter walk. If it's not one of these times, there is a kennel available on site!
@hikaymm @thePInkFlower Yeah, I think a British Garden Tour is in order. Who's organizing?!
If I could take my dog all the way to Britain I don't think I'd want to put her in the kennel while I explore, so I'd definitely take her with me. Either way, exploring this gardens looks like a lot of fun; I feel like a trip there just for a garden tour might be worth it :)
