I’ve never been to a psychic or card reader or anything like that. It’s not that I don’t believe, quite the opposite if I’m being honest. Do I think a mystic with a crystal ball can predict my future? Not really, but there are strange forces in this world, and a kind of magic I’m not in a hurry to mess with. I like the perspective of this article though that "reading can help clients identify blind spots and bad habits in their lives.” It’s a lot easier to swallow for a skeptic and for someone like me it’s an added comfort that there’s a real person giving real advice and not just communing with the great beyond. It's funny to me that tarot reading would be so popular, I'm well aware that my superstitious nature is something of an oddity in today's world of technology, but it's also understandable. Everyone wants an easy answer, or at least some advice, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
