It's a teeny tiny bit late but here's some kick ass games coming out this week! + Alien: Isolation + Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC A game that really tries to capture the terror and awesomeness of the original Alien move. Instead of being about fighting the enemy head on, Amanda (you) and the other characters have to evade the aliens. The only weapons you get are meant to distract the aliens instead of hurting them which is a really interesting mechanic. + Art of Balance + Platforms: Wii U Physics based puzzle game where you balance increasingly difficult stacks of THINGS. You can play it alone or with friends! + Castlevania: Circle of the Moon + Platforms: Wii U Circle of the Moon was actually one of the first games released for the Gameboy Advanced and it's being re-released for the Wii U. + Divekick: Addition Edition + Platforms: PlayStation 4 Divekick is basically your average fighting game, except you only use TWO buttons. Yup. All those fancy controllers and all you need is two of the buttons. + Dust: An Elysian Tail + Platforms: PlayStation 4 Beautiful graphics with a mystery kind of story. You play was a warrior trying to figure out who you are (yeah, not original but looks pretty good). + Driveclub + Platforms: PlayStation 4 Supped up cooperative racing game where you can customize your team, work with your friends, and the graphics are amazing! + Final Fantasy XIII + Platforms: PC (Steam) Yup the famous and beloeved thirteenth installment in the FF franchise (series? do you call it a series if they aren't about the same thing?) is gonna be available from Steam! If you haven't played it I recommend checking it out! + Jet Car Stunts + Platforms: PlayStation 3, PS Vita It's like if you took a racing game and put all of the tracks waaaay up in the sky so everything's floating. And yes, the cars do have jet powers XD + NBA 2K15 + Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 I know really next to nothing about sports games so forgive me for copying this from GameSpot: "The most true-to-life NBA experience yet. NBA 2D15 hits the court with unprecedented life-like graphics, ultra-realistic NBA gameplay, and more. It's up to you to claim your destiny." + Pix The Cat + Platforms: PlayStation 4, PS Vita Sadly nothing to do with cat picture, Pix the Cat is a really cool arcade style game where you run around through the Grid of Insanity rescuing duckling. + Project Spark + Platforms: Xbox One Open world aka completely sandbox building game where you can build basically anything you can imagine. Which I know sounds a lot like Minecraft but the mechanics are really different and you're building a world not just buildings. + Ryse: Son of Rome + Platforms: PC Action fighting game where you play as a roman soldier fighting to save the empire. Warning, it's rated M for violence and gore! + Skylanders Trap Team + Platforms (all of them lol_: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, iOS, Android The bottom of the barrel villains have escaped prison and are on the loose and it's up to you and the Skylanders to find them and bring them back in. + Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition + Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC Open world action sent in Hong Kong with awesome street races and a really good story. + Spelunky + Platforms: PlayStation 4 Super cute fun platformer where all the levels are randomized. You journey underground to solve puzzles and mysteries and you can explore anywhere because the entire map is destroyable! + Strider 2 (PSOne Classic) + Platforms: PlayStation 3, PS Vita Strider's been around since the 80s actually and Strider 2 is the second sequel to the original game (Strider and Strider II). More or less an action hack and slash but it's got some interesting story too. + Styx: Master of Shadows + Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC Basically if you took Assassins Creed, made it an awesome RPG, and played as a GOBLIN! Totally cool right?! + Tenkai Knights: Brave Battle + Platforms: 3DS Shapeshift into kick ass mecha robots to save the world from evil mecha robots! You can customize your suit with tons of different parts too. + Terra Battle + Platforms: iOS, Android Super pretty RPG with touch interactive tactical battles.
@DanteL idk but that would be really awesome. I know you can get some of the old ones on emulators and there are discs for I think 7 to play on PC, but steam would be a really great option!
@pixiedust awesome!
Great information for gamers, I'll pass it along to my husband and his friends!
FF13 on steam? Are they going to release all of them on PC now?
