8 Halloween Costumes Inspired By Art History
The season is here! We have officially 24 days until Halloween night (not that I'm counting), which means if you're going to be one of the brave and creative souls to assemble your very own handmade costume, it's time to get to work! Because it's impossible for me to spend an hour of this month not brainstorming what I'm going to be, I give to you some great costumes of Halloweens past - all inspired by the great artists of history! Photo 1: Rene Magritte's "Son of Man" Photo 2: Vermeer's "Girl with the Pearl Earring" Photo 3: Vincent van Gogh self-portrait Photo 4: Edvard Munch's "Scream" (with bonus Edvard Munch) Photo 5: Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" Photo 6: Roy Lichtenstein's "Oh, Jeff... I Love You, Too... But..." Photo 7: Grant Wood's "American Gothic" Photo 8: Elías García Martínez's "Ecce Homo" (also known as the 19th century painting that was famously botched by a 2012 attempt to restore it)

@TechAtHeart Me too! Except I have NO idea how I'd be able to wear all that makeup without smudging it somewhere. I have bad luck with that stuff, haha.
