Increasing Your Sprinting Speed
Here's a tutorial that shows you how to work on your sprint and deceleration. While this is aimed towards sport training (football, basketball, etc) this is a great way to up your sprinting speed which inevitably ups your long distance speed. (check out more info here - http://www.vingle.net/posts/504009) Hit a track or mark up your street with yard lines to track how long of a sprint you want to try and strengthen those short muscles.

I am a notoriously bad sprinter, but this exercise seems easy enough (especially if I start with only 5 yards at a time...)

Perfect workout to try this weekend. I think it will help with my stamina in general.
