Night Crawler Fishing: Is it worth it?
I saw some guys discussing fishing with night crawlers recently, and wasn't sure how everyone feels about it. I feel like we're lure crazy lately, and all we talk about is which lure is bet, but these guys assured me that fishing with night crawlers has been more successful for them than fishing with lures this fall. I know a lot of people say it's not really "fair" to use live bait when fishing bass because it takes the skill out of it, and to home extent I agree, but if you don't get paid to fish no one is going to think less of you for utilizing the night crawler. I have caught LM, SM, endless sunfish, channel cats and white bass on crawlers. I have gotten to where I throw a cool container of them in my soft tackled because they will keep all day and if I don't use them toss them in my compost. So what do you think: night crawler, yay or nay? @MichaelPhillips @MelanieTaylor @ryan88argo @dougjohnson @fallingwater @happyrock @yakwithalan Curious to see what you all think about this!

@yakwithalan @dougjohnson I get where you guys are coming from, but I still can't help but think that sometimes the classic worm is the way to go. Especially if you just need a pick me up fishing trip!

@dougjohnson Everyone's got their own style, then.

Do what works for you! I use them occasionally for walleye, perch, and suckers. You can troll them and cast/retrieve them, too.
