Top 10 animated superhero movies that I partially agree with and partially don’t. So let’s go through it and I’ll tell you what I think. + Hellboy: Sword of Storms + The first animated Hellboy movie based on Mike Mignola’s Hellboy comic series. It was well written and featured a lot of the original cast from the live action movie including Ron Perlman. It’s a great representation of the characters and the writing is really funny, it’s got the feeling of the live action movie. + Justice League: The New Frontier + Basically if you took modern heroes (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Black Canary, and so many more) and put them back in the silver age. It’s based on a really cool comic that I’ve heard about and not read but the movie itself it really awesome. + Superman/Batman Apocalypse + Absolutely awesome!!! Like the video says, the title of the video highlights Superman and Batman, the focus of the movie is on the holy trinity (Sup, Batsy, and Wonder Woman) and the introduction of Super Girl. The focus of the book it’s based on is actually “The Supergirl from Krypton” to give you an idea. Featuring the original voice of Batman Kevin Conroy, and awesome action scenes and writing. + Wonder Woman + Probably the greatest Wonder Woman movie ever made. You’ve got the bad ass super hero fighting for justice, but also the woman who believes in peace. It’s a perfect portrayal of Wonder Woman and really does the character justice. + Superman: Dooms Day + Otherwise known as the Death of Superman this is one of the greatest superhero movies of all time. The plot is too awesome and to complicated to try and explain, but it’s a seriously great story. + Batman: The Dark Knight Returns + Frank Miller, for all of his faults, wrote one of the greatest Batman graphic novels of all time, and the animated movie based on it is just as awesome. In the video they mention that the first half of Dark Knight starts kind of slow going through a lot of explosion but to me it’s just as interesting as the action packed second half, but I’m a comic nerd so XD + Justice League: Doom + Abso-freaking-lutely one of the best best best superhero movies of all time!!!!! I can’t say enough good things about it, it’s just that awesome. You’ve got a huge cast of heroes AND villains, and all of them are great, plus the story itself is a question plenty of fans have already asked before: What would happen if Batman, the greatest detective in the world, turned on the Justice League? + Batman: Under the Red Hood + Another freaking excellent movie that will break your heart, reassemble it, and break it all over again. The death of Jason Todd was a huge deal in the comic world, and Under the Red Hood did the entire storyline justice. + The Incredibles + So my knee jerk reaction is to completely disagree with this, but I’m biased and when I stop to actually think about it, The Incredibles is actually a really good movie. it’s a completely different feel and meant for a completely different audience, but it’s just as good as some of the other movies on this list. Do I think it should be so high on the list? Not really, but it’s still good. + Batman: Mask of the Phantasm + YES! YES YES YES! Mask of the Phantasm is without question the best Batman movie ever and one of the best hero movies ever. One thing I will add is the first movie brought up in the comments of the video, which I agree should be on this list somewhere. And that movie is Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox. Flashpoint Paradox has Flash as the main hero who manages to travel to an alternate reality with the most terrifying and interesting version of Batman and the Joker ever. Honorable Mentions + MNT + Green Lantern: First Flight + Hulk Versus + The Powerpuff Girls Movie + Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
@AgentCory hahaha yeh ok ok, I'll give them a try. what should I start with if I want to watch this stuff?
@somnia yessssss you should def watch!!! so some of these movies are by the guys who made JL and JLU Tim and Dini. they also made the superman show, batman the animated series, etc. in general anything in the DCAU (animated universe) is gonna be pretty good and I recommend all of these movies too c:
I never really watch us animation stuff but some of these sound pretty cool. I've heard good things about JL and JLU, are the shows done by the same people or connected?
