To Vinglers: Thank You For Your Strength and Compassion
Vingle is a place to connect with people who love the things that you love. Many Vinglers have become best friends and in a few cases, they've become like family. Recently, the Vingle community was shocked by news of a fellow Vingler @BBxGD's illness. Rather than despairing or falling silent, the Vingle Kpop community's response was absolutely incredible. Hundreds of messages, comments, and cards were written cheering for @BBxGD and offering her support and positivity. When a large group of Vinglers organized a social media campaign to ask Korean entertainers to send encouragement, Vingle did whatever they could to help. Vingle reached out to Big Bang's Taeyang to let him know how brave @BBxGD has been during this tough time, and how incredibly loving and supporting our Vingle community is. He was touched and, wanting to offer his prayers and support, was kind enough to send @BBxGD a personal message and CD. Taeyang asked us to send these to @BBxGD from Korea. We hope this little gift will give her more positive energy and power to get over her illness and recover fast. This is a testament to not only @BBxGD's strength as a person but to how truly loving the Vingle family is. This could never have happened without the support from the Vingle community. The entire Vingle Team was moved by the kindness that was shown, and we are so proud to be the platform of such a caring community. Now we ask all of Vingle to take a moment to send love and positive thoughts towards @BBxGD. Thank you, Vinglers and stay strong, @BBxGD!
Self Care Tips: What Works for You? Featuring calming BTS Music..
Hello fam! What is self care and what works for you? I practice self care all the time to help manage my personal, professional, and mental health. I've learned that when your mental health is stable your physical health and life is better. I will share my self care tips I do to manage my Depression. What is self care? It is what is says. Self care is taking care of yourself. This could be meditation, skincare, going for walks, coffee time with your friends, walking to dog, listening to music, exercise, etc! Healthy ways to maintain the cool you! I have been diagnosed with Major Depression and sometimes I find it annoying when ppl think they know what I'm going through. However, this is how I manage my mental health through self-care Mindfulness I love taking time out everyday at the end of the day to practice mindfulness. This helps me relax so I can have a wonderful restful night. This helps improves my sleep and reduce anxiety. Meditation/ Imagery I switch it up and sometimes before going to bed I listen to soothing music and meditate. I use imagery to help relax my mind and body. Below is some soothing BTS music I love to utilize to help calm me down. Writing/Poetry I love chilling and writing. I play some chill music to help the creative juices flow. Try out purchasing a cool note book and pen that you can use for just writing. Pedicure/Pamper Once a month a get a jelly pedicure. This helps me relax after a long week. If you can't afford one you can do this at home. I will share some of my foot soak recipes in another card. Remember there is only one you, so please take care of yourself!!! Besos!!
Self-care: Skincare Routine
Hello fam! Taking care of your outside is a part of self care. Skin care is not only good practice or hygiene, but can help reduce stress with the time and quality of products that you use. I will share my updated skin care routine. FYI my skin type is dry and sensitive. 1. Music I always have to play some music and groove when I take care of my skin. As ya know I'm either rocking out to BTS or some rock band! 2. Products for Day Time: Real Cica Micellar Cleansing Foam and Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturizer This cleanser is super gentle and so silky. It does have a super light scent. This does not dry out my skin.I purchased my on Amazon. It's under 20 bucks and a little goes a long way. I use this in the morning. This is expensive!!! I will say about $65 bucks USA coins. However, a little goes a long way and the formula is like hydrating your skin with silk. This is light weight but super hydrating. Great to apply before make up as well. 3. Night Time Products: Biore Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Cooling Cleanser, Real Cica Essense Pads, and Dr. Jart Ceramidin This cooling gel cleanser gives me life and soothes my skin at night time. It feels so relaxing. Make sure not to leave in skin for too long if you have sensitive skin. These pads claim to be a light skin peel. I will say that it does soften my skin, reduces irritation and or inflammation, and leaves skin supple with a glow. You can purchase these on Amazon too. This moisturizer has so many natural ingredients and does have a lemon scent. This is thicker but super hydrating. This does help reduce irritation as well. This did cost about $35 bucks. 4. Makeup face: Take the day off Cleansing Milk For my make up I double cleanse. I use this Cleansing Milk followed by either or wash and my night time moisturizer. This was $25 at Ulta. Sorry folks I know I should use spf but I don't. I used to use this sun blocker but it ended up breaking me out after 6 months of using it.
