French street artist C215 creates powerful murals of children around the world
Known as 'France's answer to Banksy', French street artist Christian Guémy - aka C215 - has spent nearly a decade creating incredibly colorful stencil murals that reflect the social issues of the regions in which these works reside. His art has taken him across Europe, and more recently into the Middle East and West Africa. Using street children as a major motif, he addresses the 'forgotten' population of these societies. Here are some of his most vibrant and incredible works, including a mural he recently created in Paris's 20th District (Photo 6).
