I am a typically a positive person, so it takes a lot for me to be in a bad mood. But how can you keep up this bright outlook everyday? Is being happy the majority of the time even possible? Here are a few steps that I take to keep up my good attitude. I hope that they help you as well. 1. Be in the Now We tend to spend too much time dwelling on the past and worrying about the future, making us miss experiencing happiness right now? Plan for the future, learn from the past, live in the present. 2. Clear Your Mind Today's connected world means we are rarely out of reach and are constantly inundated with information. Give yourself a much needed break from the noise. Take a walk, a nap, or just listen to an old CD you used to love. 3. Accept Yourself According to the experts, true inner happiness comes from accepting life, its circumstances and who you really are. 4. Make the Most of Life Happiness comes down to your attitudes and perceptions, which in turn influence how you see and interpret the world around you. You have the power to make yourself happy. 5. woww love this article thanku so much reading this article in itself made me happy that there are many more people in this world that cares about other peoples happiness. Being 'in the now' is hard but when I can achieve it my brain thanks me. There is no use worrying about the past or future.
@nenegrint14 I definitely agree, easier said than done, but isn't at least saying them the first step? I think it must be!
Unfortunately the third one might be the hardest, but it is the most important.
