Bill Clinton Reads "Concord Hymn" by Ralph Waldo Emerson
Bill Clinton reading “Concord Hymn” by Ralph Waldo Emerson for the Favorite Poem Project in 1999. The Favorite Poem Project is dedicated to celebrating, documenting and encouraging poetry's role in Americans' lives. Robert Pinsky, the 39th Poet Laureate of the United States, founded the project shortly after the Library of Congress appointed him to the post in 1997.
He may not be my favorite person ever, but this is a great poem. Very cool project as well; I'm glad he got involved. I remember seeing quite a few of these videos about 10 years ago.

@greggr Agreed! More people always pay attention to the arts when famous faces are involved, sad as that is.
