Japanese Grandma Discovers Photography, Can’t Stop Taking Hilarious Self-Portraits

Kimiko Nishimoto didn't get into photography until she was 72 years old (she's 89 now). Her son was teaching a beginner's course and so she decided to enroll, unaware that she was about to awake a passion and a talent she never even knew she had. She instantly fell in love with photography and set about snapping various quirky and comical self-portraits. She had her first solo exhibition ten years later, at a local museum in her home town of Kumamoto, and now she's about to have her work exhibited in Tokyo.

Swedish former Olympic diver Jimmy Sjödin, and his German boyfriend, Patrick Huber, just got engaged in Venice, Italy, and the photos are making the internet go wild! Patrick wouldn’t tell Jimmy where they were going when they left their Munich home by car. They eventually reached Venice, Italy, a place Jimmy had always wanted to visit, where Patrick had arranged for a travel photographer to take secret snaps of their sweet adventure. When the pair set off on a romantic gondola ride, Patrick knew the time was right, and popped the question. “I had no idea or clue that this could or would be an engagement trip,” Jimmy told the Huffington Post about the shocking moment. The happy couple is set to marry in the German Alps on May 28, 2018, which will mark two years to the day they began dating.

[Film Photography] My First Rolls of Film!

I just restarted film photography and am very excited to share a few favorite shots from my first rolls :) I'm using a Pentax K1000 and a Pentaz IQZoomEZY with Fuji film (most are c200 but some are 400) I'd love to hear what you think as well as if any of you shoot film :) What do you use camera-wise and film-wise?
