New York Doctor Tests Positive for Ebola
Craig Spencer, a Doctors Without Borders physician, recently returned to New York form West Africa. He has tested positive for the Ebola virus despite having shown no symptoms for a few days after his return. Authorities say he is the first reported case in New York City. Spencer was treating Ebola patients in Guinea on October 17th. He developed symptoms on October 23rd. He is currently in isolation and being treated at New York's Bellevue Hospital. Authorities have also stated that there is no reason to think Spencer has put anyone at risk, although the issue is being investigated. I personally think that we should not freak out about this incident, as I know many people will likely get pretty upset and nervous about it. There is a logical reason as to why the virus made its way here and at this point we all should know that if no symptoms were showing then he was not contagious.

All we can do is hope and work against those blaming it on any specific people or countries: epidemics happen, lets just hope this one ends soon.
