As soon as I saw this owl I knew I had to share it. The eyes are adorable! Great for non-spooky Halloween desserts. Makes 6 servings | Prep and cook time: 30 minutes Ingredients: 125g plain flour 1tsp baking powder 25g coco powder 60g sugar 1 egg 100ml milk 2tbs oil Tub of ready-made chocolate icing Small packet chocolate chips Large packet milk chocolate buttons Small packet white chocolate buttons Jelly Tots sweets (or similar) Equipment: Food processor Sieve Teaspoon Tablespoon Spatula Bread knife 6 cake cases Muffin tray Directions: Preheat your oven to 160 degrees. Use a sieve and place the flour, baking powder and coco into the main work bowl of your KitchenAid food processor. Mix the milk, egg, sugar and oil in the prep bowl, before pouring into the dry mixture. Use your processor to combine well. Spoon the mixture into cake cases and bake for around 20 minutes until the top has a cracked appearance. When cool, slice off the top of the muffins to create a flat surface. Now you can add a layer of chocolate icing. Use two white chocolate buttons or biscuits on each of the cakes to create the eyes of an owl, with a chocolate chip as the pupil. Cut up jelly sweets to create beaks and layer on chocolate buttons to create the feathery body of an owl.
