Deemo on Android Review
"Never left without saying goodbye" First of all, I never heard of this game before. Lack of advertisement I suppose? But yeah, one of my friend recommended that to me and said that it is totally a good game for android devices. So I checked it out. Deemo is a music rhythm game with a little bit of urban fantasy storyline. The story begins with Deemo, a mystic character who looked kinda sad in his life (actually, he looked like slenderman, lol). A little girl suddenly fell from the sky and it seems that she has an amnesia. Deemo suddenly realize that the tree keeps on growing whenever he played a piano piece so he (or the player) will play the music in order to make the plant grow and send the girl back in her world. "What would Deemo do when it getd comfortable with the companionship it never had before? What if the little girl couldn't deal with the truth when her seemingly lost memories regained?" Developed by Rayark Inc., the developer of another famous rhythm game called Cytus, this game is free (more like of a demo game) with in-app purchases in the Google Playstore. Pros: - Stunning visuals. (Hand drawn) - The songs in this game are fantastic! My favorite songs are Wings of Piano and Yubikiri Genman. You can search Youtube to listen to this songs. :) - You can unlock more tracks as you progress in the game. - It is a rhythm game. It is kinda hard at first but you'll get used to it. - There are 3 modes of difficulty (easy, normal, and hard) and 9 speed levels. So you can mix and match your preferred difficulty and speed. Cons: - Occasional lags. I experienced this whenever I got a message on fb messenger. So whenever I play, I turn off my wifi/mobile data first. Though sometimes, I just log out on fb because I sign in my data in google games account. lol - The in-app purchases (for additional book of songs and full version of the game) costs quite expensive for me (since I am still a student). But after I'm really into it, I decided to purchase the full game and it's worth it. lol Overall Verdict: 5/5. Totally a must-try! My tree is about 15 meters now but I still don't know what will happen to this game or what is the maximum height of this tree. Haha. Looks like I'll just keep on playing. lol P.S. Use headphones for best experience. What do you think of this game? Share your thoughts. Over and out!
