So I don't know about everyone else here in the community, but personally, I'm a really lazy type of anime nerd. Any Crime/Mystery Podcast Suggestions?
I just seriously binged a podcast called Crime Junkie and now I need something else to take its place while I wait for next week's episode lol! When I was little I LIVED for Nancy Drew and similar girl-detective stories. Then I moved onto CSI and devoured every episode of every season and even bought the DVDs (Las Vegas obviously) I also loved Bones but when the romance part of the storyline got to be more important than the crimes I sort of dropped it and NOW I'm majorly binge watching Elementary but I'm almost done so I'm trying sooo hard to not finish it cause I seriously don't know what I'll do with my life haha Crime Junkies was the first podcast I was able to get into because so many other crime podcasts (like My Favorite Murder) were too chatty and blabbered on about random things and not the facts and the mystery. So, do you guys have any suggestions? Looking forward to it!

If you don't use a silk pillowcase, what are you even doing to your hair?
For those of you who don't sleep on silk or satin pillowcases or hair bonnets, why do you hate your hair? And for those of us who do, aka The Enlightened Ones, isn't it the best thing ever? Since using it, my hair is stronger, longer and every morning sweet baby angels float down from the heavens to gently pet my hair and whisper to me "Have a great day with no bedhead, beautiful" to wake me up. During slumber is when the body replenishes itself and does a reset. The same goes for your hair but if you are sleeping on fabrics like standard cotton, you are drying out your hair and weakening it. Silk and satin are GOD BLESS for protecting your hair. 1. They protect and maintain the natural oils in your hair. Unlike cotton which soaks out your hair's moisture. 2. They don't cause much friction or static(which leads to bedhead) as your hair gently glides across these smooth fabrics like a calm wave on the sands of a Jamaican beach. 3. Aesthetic, sis! Look how nice silk bedding looks. So please give your hair a break and throw out any fabric touching it that isn't silk or satin.

I know that some of these have been remade or continued, but I don't have time to watch them and the feeling has changed. Korean TV, This Is Just Getting Ridiculous
So by now we all know about Produce 101. In case you don't, though, here's a short breakdown: There have been two seasons on MBC (one for girls, one for boys) that takes 101 trainees and puts them through tests and voting until only a certain number remain and they create a new idol group (for a short period of time, then they go back to their original companies. The channel KBS is preparing to take it to the next level. The company is preparing a show currently called "The Final 99 Match" that will take performers that have had the chance to debut, but never found success. There are plenty of idol groups (unfortuately called "nugus") that have never really succeeded. Ideally, this show is where they get a chance to join a new group and get a shot at fame. That's sort of normal and understandable, but this is where it gets absolutely ridiculous. There reportedly will be 250 BOYS AND 250 GIRLS competing. 9 of each gender will survive and be placed into groups (number of groups have not been decided) I understand that idol TV shows are getting popular, much like how American Idol in the States led to The X Factor, The Voice, America's Got Talent, etc etc etc. But 500 people?! When they've already survived the harsh kpop audition and training system to debut? That must be so heartbreaking for all of them. I'd feel less bad if they were complete rookies with zero training but dang, to already debut...its like NU'EST being in Produce 101 right now. So sad for the fans :/ I wish everyone luck and hope it changes some lives for the better but I have a feeling this competition is going to be a heart ache. What do you guys think? source
What Else Were They in? Tom Hiddleson's Other Movies
Because we all adore him. And we won't be seeing him in the MCU again until Thor: Raganrok (in 2017). So if you really need your Hiddlesfix, here are a few movies you should definitely catch him in! Crimson Peak This came out over the summer and it was chilling! Definitely check this out if you want to see Hiddleston in period clothes and like the moral ambiguity of Loki. But come to this one prepared. It's visually stunning and incredibly unsettling. The Hollow Crown This miniseries was like Christmas and birthdays all at once for Shakespeare lovers. Hiddleston did an amazing job playing Prince Hal, one of the most beloved roles in the canon. If you want to see Hiddleston really flexing his muscles as an actor, you need to put this at the top of your list. Only Lovers Left Alive Yes, vampires have been trendy of late, but this movie takes the vampire genre in a new direction. Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton have great on screen chemistry and they're a pleasure to watch. It's weird and sad and thrilling all at once. Here you go Hiddlesfans! What else did you enjoy seeing him in?

I have been obsessed with Brooklyn 99 lately and I hope some of you enjoy this! Jake Peralta - Ken Overall great guy but also can be super dumb and WAY TOO HYPER Amy Santiago - Hakyeon Teachers pet, goody two shoes, but super smart Captain Holt - Taekwoon Very very rarely shows emotion but when he does its epic Gina Linetti - Hongbin "the human form of the 100 emoji" Rosa Diaz - Hyuk can be very scary but overall badass Charles Boyle - Hakyeon fan girls for his friends, is very weird but great Terry Jeffords - Ravi tough on the outside, super softie on the inside Hitchcock and Scully - Ken and Hyuk idek hahahahahahahhahaha trouble

I'm Addicted to Dark on Netflix
This show was suggested to me by a few friends so I gave it a try and holy WHAT I am hooked. Dark is a german scifi drama that follows a small town that is trying to grapple with the fact that children are going missing...just like they did exactly 33 years prior. Through the eyes of all the people in the town, we discover a huge secret and something wild that has been going on (and still continues) for decades. It revolves around the mythology behind the number 33 and numerology. Every 33 years, the stars and planets are perfectly aligned as they were 33 years ago (because our definition of a year - 365 days - isnt quite accurate so it takes 33 years for everything to truly sync again) We are taken into the creepy world of time travel that is haunting the town and tbh the first 4 episodes had me scared out of my mind. It's really well made and makes you think a lot, I can't WAIT to dive into season 2 tonight! If you love complicated storylines and coming up with LOTS of theories - this is the series for you. Japanese Spiderman Is The Marvel Hero We've Needed.
Just when I thought I knew of every single Marvel show and movie out there, I stumbled across footage from 'Supaidaman', a live-action Spiderman series that aired in Japan in the 1970s. Need a superhero that will rid your town of one of many of Japan's notorious monsters? SUPAIDAMAN! Need a superhero that moves like a ninja and shoots hella fake-looking webs at your enemies? SUPAIDAMAN! Need a superhero who suits up in a way that more-than-noticeably defies the laws of basic physics? SUPAIDAMAN! Supaidaman's got it all - including a knack for slapstick comedy! As for his theme song? This is probably the best soundtrack song I've ever listened to. (No, seriously. Listen to this.) So what do you guys think about Supaidaman? Have I convinced you of his epicness? (Also, if you're curious, you can probably find subbed episodes online. Stan Lee actually had a lot of control over the creative direction, so I heard it's actually a great watch!)
