A highly controversial player in the draft, Anthony Barr is proving that he is a force to be reckoned with in his NFL rookie year. Highly criticized during the draft process for not having played defense for more than 2 years and lacking fundamentals, Anthony Barr is showing that athleticism and elite preparation is a deadly combination. He now has 4 fumble recoveries, 2 forces fumbles, 3 sacks, and leads the team in tackles. He scored the game winning TD in Sunday's game against the Bucs in OT by forcing a fumble on the Bucs TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins. He still has to compete with the Bears rookie CB Kyle Fuller and the Raiders LB Khalil Mack who is one of the highest rated LBs at stopping the run in the NFL.
Dude is huge. A man amongst boys
@TheAdrenaline He was indeed beat. His coverage skills was always his weakness but with his attention to detail I'm sure he will improve every season.
I heard he got beat on the coverage, but was able to recover the fumble bc is just that athletic. Great pick by the Vikings!
