‘Reply 1997’ OST Hits Over 10K in Pre-Orders The popularity of Reply 1997 goes on despite the drama having ended. The director’s cut OST of tvN’s Reply 1997 was revealed to have hit over 10,000 copies in pre-order sales, showing the massive success of both the drama and its music. In doing so, the album is showing remarkable sales for a drama OST, as even the most successful OST album typically sells in the 10,000 range. With 12,500 copies already pre-ordered, the album has gone into a second round of production as it sits just behind DBSK’s Catch Me on the daily album sales chart on Hanteo. The success comes as a pleasant surprise for tvN, which had originally planned to produce some 5,000 copies. However, as the drama grew in critical acclaim and ratings, so did interest in the drama OST leading to its explosive sales today. In addition to the hit remake track All For You, the drama OST features a slew of hit 90s tracks including Deli Spice’s Confession, Jo Sung Mo’s To Heaven, Riaa’s Tears and more.
