Baking with Avocado Instead of Butter
The number of ways you can used avocados as substitutions is incredible, but my absolute favorite is using these Avocados contain a high water content, so they can also make treats softer, chewier and less likely to crumble. Avocados are also lower in calories than butter and can provide omega-3s, a ton of vitamins, and good, unsaturated fats. A stick of butter (1/2 cup) = about 3/4 of an avocado! I attached an inforgraph highlighting the nutritional benefits of using this superfood :)

Hmmmmm, thanks asparagus for posting this. I never thought of using this insteaf of butter ... will give it a try next time I bake:)
