There is a Tree House Cafe in Japan and I NEED TO GO
I just saw this place on YouTube and I am so in love. It's a bit far out from Tokyo (its near Yokohama) so I won't be able to go during my trip next week but OMG I WANT TO GOOOO! It's called Nanjya Monjya Cafe and it is a legit tree house. You can just hang out in the treehouse, drink coffee, and chill all day! Plus LOOK AT THESE PANCAKES THEY HAVE. My Week-Long Japanese Adventure!
I just got back from a week long solo adventure in Japan! Here are the videos I've made documenting my trip^^ 1. Koyasan to Kyoto I went from plane to train to cable car to bus to get to the GORGEOUS cemetery on top of Mt. Koya in Japan. It took over 3 hours to get there but it was so worth it! I stayed there for one say then headed down to Osaka to check out a really fun cafe. Then I ended the day getting to my AirBnb in Kyoto :) Here are some photos: 2. Katsuoji Temple and Fried Maple Leaves I visited a temple in Mino-o that is dedicated to these really cool Japanese dolls called daruma. I also hit up the local town to eat fried Japanese maple leaves because, why not? Here are some photos: 3. Fushimi Inari and Nishiki Market I woke up early to visit the famous Fushimi Inari shrine during a totally downpour of rain, and then ended the day eating a TON at the local food market! 산청 수선사
부처님 오신날 수선사에 가봅니다. 흐미 엄청 복잡합니다 ㅋ 고2가 어릴때 수선사에 와본적이 있는데 엄청 변했더라구요. 어, 저 멋진 집은 뭐지 하고 봤더니 화장실 ㅋ 예전엔 연못밖에 없었던것 같은데 이젠 카페까지 생겼더라구요. 여긴 나중에 다시 구경하기로… 부처님 오신날 준비를 많이 했을텐데 아침부터 비가 엄청 와서… 다행히 저희가 갔을땐 비가 거의 그치고 살짝 흩날리는 수준. 여기도 천막을 준비해놨네요. 의자에 앉아 쉬면서 꽃구경도 하고 사진도 찍었습니다. 좋네요 ㅎ 주먹밥이랑 생수를 주시더라구요. 잘 먹겠습니다. 주먹밥 맛있더라구요. 부처님 오신날 절집에 간 기억이 참 오랜만인것 같아요.

🌸 I Saw Sakura in Kyoto 🌸
Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA from Vingle for a while, I just got back from a week-long trip to Japan! I spent half the time in Tokyo, and half in Kyoto and we were lucky enough to be there right at peak cherry blossom season! I'll post about Tokyo later (spoiler alert - i got to visit the youtube studios!) but today I wanted to share some footage of the sakura in Kyoto. In Gion, the geisha district, there is a big stream that runs through the center of town. That entire stream is lined with the most perfect cherry blossoms and its absolutely stunning. We also visited a few shrines that had plenty of sakura too and it was just so calming to look at them. People were also super respectful of the trees too, and weren't touching them or shaking them to get the perfect picture. I really appreciated that! Are there any cherry blossoms where you guys are?! I just got back to Seoul and they're EVERYWHERE!

어디 가서 커피 한잔할까 하고 검색했더니 캠핑장 근처에 갤러리 카페가 있더라구요. 주차장에 차를 세우고도 한참을 들어가야 되나 말아야 되나를 고민했답니다 ㅋ. 분위기가 우중충해서 말이죠. 내부는 뭐 그럭저럭. 공연도 하는것 같더라구요. 맥주랑 와인도 팔더라구요. 갤러리 카페가 아니라 7080 라이브 카페같은 분위기 ㅋ 이동네에서는 흔한 논밭뷰… 제 입맛 기준 근래에 마셔본 커피중 젤 맛이 별로였어요… 보리차에 카누를 탄 느낌이랄까요… 원두의 문제인가 제조의 문제인가로 와입과 토론했습니다. 결론은 둘다인걸로… 초4는 복숭아티를 주문했는데 계속 설탕 알갱이가 씹힌다고… 시럽 어디 없나요 ㅡ.,ㅡ 사장님께서 유튜브도 하시는것 같아서 들어가봤는데 아마 카페는 공연 장소로 사용하시거나 취미생활로 하시는것 같았어요.

Do you dress up as people from other countries in order to make fun of them? You’re probably a racist. Do you like wearing a kimono because you appreciate its beauty and historical significance to Japan? Go right ahead. A strong argument can be made, after all, that stigmatizing the sharing of cultural elements only creates more distance between us.
