Gardening is not limited to the ground and graffiti is not limited to using spray paint. Multi-disciplinary designer Anna Garforth creates typography and massive geometric designs and patterns with living material (such as moss). Her use of natural medium and creativity leads to the inception of moss graffiti. Learn more about Garforth's work here: --- It's not difficult to recreate moss graffiti on your own background yard. Any concrete or brick wall would be a great place to start. You will need: 1. Paint brush 2. One can of cheap beer or 1 1/2 cups buttermilk (yogurt works too) 3. A few handfuls of moss 4. 1 teaspoon sugar Blend all the edible items together. Paint on wall (of your choice) and mist daily until it grows.
How cool!! What a great way to use cheap beer ahaha
I think I saw a similar moss typography wall art at an outdoor mall in Pasadena. I don't quite remember the location but it caught my attention. It's so creative!
I've heard of doing this inside as well, but I think it'd be a little messy!
