For the sake of beauty we probably tried a dozen of bizarre beauty tricks (ex: curling hair with socks and removing blackheads with Elmer's glue). As self-proclaimed beauty obsessives, we keep on testing for beauty solution. With that in mind, here are 4 bizarre beauty tricks that can fix your beauty problems. You may or may not heard of it before, but you'll definitely pick up a tip or two. 1. Dryer sheets for static hair The windy days and cold temperature in fall means we'll have many cozy hat on standby. However, beanie and many other cozy hat gives our hair more static than usual. To avoid this, run a clean dryer sheet over your hair before tossing on your favorite hat. It’ll keep static at bay and your strands smooth (plus, they’ll smell fresh and clean). 2. Diaper rash ointment for dry elbows and soles Okay, you might find it weird because this is formulated to soothe an itchy baby bum. Nonetheless, it works! Diaper rash ointment is filled with anti-inflammatory ingredients, as well as gentle moisturizers to treat sensitive, cracked skin. 3. Ice cube facial for dull skin Whether you're waking up in the morning with puffy eyes or bloated face, a few ice cube can brighten up your dull face. Just wrap two cubes (one for each eye) in a washcloth or paper towel and hold them to your eyes for up to 10 minutes. You’ll reduce the morning puffiness. To instantly perk up your complexion, just run an ice cube across your face (focusing on problem areas). 4. A silver spoon for straight lashes Tired of hurting your lashes and skin with an eyelash curler? Your favorite soup utensil can be a better replace. Ex-Victoria Secret Model Miranda Kerr can vouch for this. Warm up your spoon with a hair dryer (make sure it's not too hot). Then place it against your eye with the curved part facing outward and the bottom edge directly above your upper lash line. Then, press your lashes against the edge of the spoon and glide the spoon along your lashes, rotating upwards. Ta-da! You now have beautifully curled lashes.
The dryer sheets has always been one of my favorite tips to keeping things static free!!
I totally do the spoon thing! I thought it was only a Latino thing hahaha.
