Vegan Jalapeño Bacon Poppers
I know what you're thinking. You didn't think this was possible at all. Or maybe you did think it was possible, but you didn't believe that it could ever be delicious. But these are amazing! And thanks to all the manufacturers out there that have specialized in veganizing foods like bacon and cream cheese, it's totally doable making at home! Try this recipe out the next time you invite friends over for a sports or movie night. It's also great for potlucks! ----------------------------------------------------- Vegan Jalapeño Bacon Poppers 6 fresh jalapenos, sliced in half lengthwise 5 to 6 tbsps. vegan cream cheese 12 strips vegan bacon Toothpicks 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Using a spoon, hollow out the jalapeno halves, scooping out the seeds. 3. Fill with vegan cream cheese, then wrap with vegan bacon and securing it with a toothpick. 4. Spread wrapped jalapenos on an ungreased cookie sheet. 5. Bake for 12 minutes. Enjoy!

@AvocadoLove My guess is that they're actually the Morning Star brand of bacon. (Which are technically NOT vegan, but are suitable for ovo-lacto vegetarians. They have egg whites!) But if you want to vegan this up, there's a huuuge market of vegan bacons out there. Also @nineincher and @iluvdurian31 - vegan bacon is really delicious! It's certainly not like real bacon, but it does have its own flavor and adds a nice crunch to sandwiches.
