Obama is backing up Net Neutrality, urging the FCC to recognize the voice of the people, who have already been speaking up about this issue. As stated on the White House website, Obama believes there should be "no gatekeepers between you and your favorite online sites and services," and this has angered those against Net Neutrality. Senator Ted Cruz from Texas tweeted: '"Net Neutrality" is Obamacare for the Internet; the Internet should not operate at the speed of government.' Despite the criticism he is getting, many people are glad that Obama kept his campaign promise of pushing for net neutrality. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this! How big of an impact will Obama's statement make?

Hopefully this brought more awareness to many Americans who had no idea what was going on regarding this
Whether he had spoken for or against it, I would be for it! We need the FCC to understand that as consumers we have the real right to decide this.
I applaud Obama for this.
Let's keep sharing this, @TechAtHeart! It was a great statement - and I hope the FCC will listen to everyone's feedback on maintaining Net Neutrality. Fingers crossed!
I personally don't think his statement will make that much of a different, but that's just me! Hopefully, the push by proponents for and against Net Neutrality will be the ones to decide it, not Obama! I'm happy he is on my side, though :)
