Foods That Will Make Your Hair Grow Faster
I love having long hair, but long, unhealthy hair is annoying and not very pretty - at all! Here are a few foods to add to your diet so that you can have fast growing hair that is strong, silky, and absolutely gorgeous! Yellow Bell Peppers: These tasty peppers actually have nearly five and a half times more vitamin C than oranges! This is good news for your hair since vitamin C strengthens your hair while preventing breakage. Munch on these with some hummus or carrots to really get that vitamin C and fiber kick! Sunflower Seeds: Just a few little seeds can supply you with a great supply of vitamin E, which enhances blood flow to the scalp to promote faster hair growth. Throw these on a salad for a tasty crunch and lusicous locks :) Sweet Potatoes: These are loaded with beta carotene which not only promotes a healthy scalp but promotes hair growth. I am giving you permission to load up on those (baked!) sweet potato fries! Avocados: Due to their high concentration of fatty acids (which help to keep your skin smooth), avocados are an amazing beauty secret. When topically applied to the hair and scalp, they have the added ability to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Check out these avocado hair ideas: Avocado-Lemon Hair Mask - Homemade Banana/Avocado Nutrient Treatment - Almonds: These nuts will make your hair grow faster and thicker due to their high biotin content. One cup contains nearly one-third of your daily requirement. You should be able to see the results in a month or two of adding them to your diet!
