What's Missing From Every Before and After Weight-Loss Photo
www.youtube.com
John Glaude is a beast (as you can tell from his cleverly named YouTube channel, Obese to Beast) In the last two years, he’s lost 160 pounds through a combination of diet and exercise. Now a healthy 200 pounds, Glaude feels more energetic and self-confident, so long as he keeps his shirt on. In this video, John shares with us his biggest insecurity. His loose skin. This is a topic that many of us don't think about or even consider when we see those amazing before and after weight loss photos. John bravely shows us what real weight loss looks like and encourages everyone to be confident and proud of what they've accomplished. “I’m happy with where I’ve come and where I am now. I’m not walking around the beach with my shirt off, but this is who I am, and I’m proud of it.”

I lost about the 60 kilos (sorry I don't know pounds well, about 130 pounds I think?) and my loose skin is also my greatest insecurity, thanks for sharing this! I've been trying to overcome this issue for a while now, and I've found that sometimes the loose skin makes me question the value of my achievement in loosing weight in the first place. Getting there each day though :)
