NFL recently wrote an article with a list of their top rookie classes. Of course it is too easy to evaluate most draft picks as they develop but here is a preemptive list. What do you think? 1. Oakland Raiders: DE/OLB Khalil Mack (1st), QB Derek Carr (2nd), LG Gabe Jackson (3rd), NT Justin Ellis (4th), CB T.J. Carrie (7th) 2. Minnesota Vikings: QB Teddy Bridgewater (1st), OLB/DE Anthony Barr (1st), RB Jerick McKinnon (3rd) 3. Jacksonville Jaguars: QB Blake Bortles (1st), WR Allen Robinson (2nd), WR Marqise Lee (2nd), G Brandon Linder (3rd), LB Telvin Smith (5th), C Luke Bowanko (6th), WR Allen Hurns (UDFA) 4. St. Louis Rams: DT Aaron Donald (1st), LT Greg Robinson (1st), RB Tre Mason (3rd), CB E.J. Gaines (6th) 5. Buffalo Bills: WR Sammy Watkins (1st), LB Preston Brown (3rd), RT Seantrel Henderson (7th) Compelte list here: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000427134/article/cj-mosley-sammy-watkins-among-pro-bowlcaliber-rookies?campaign=Facebook_writers_brandt
Raiders lost again but it's impressive how they're keeping every game close
@RonTorrisi It will be interesting what they do with the 1st pick next year. I say they give it up to the Eagles for a treasure chest of picks. They seem to be doing a much better job evaluating talent so those draft picks will help them expedite the rebuild project. It's a good draft to have the number 1 in. You think they'll draft Mariota or Winston despite having Carr?
my raiders with the best rookies, yes I agree , too bad its going to take a few years to develop.
@chickennrice Allen Robinson has been looking really good. Bortles hasn't been accurate enough yet to hit him on deep passes but he looks like a potential pro bowler. Sad to see he's out for the season now
Jags seem like they got their receivers of the future but can any of them become a star? I dunno
