After Pup 681 was found alone in California, she was taken to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for rehabilitiation. She had been orphaned before she even reached 5 weeks of age, and was very underweight and alone when found. Four weeks passed, and she grew strong enough to be moved and adopted. Now, she'll be staying at Shedd Aquarium, where they will work to provide her with 24 hour care to help her adjust and learn to be an otter, after which time, she'll be named and introduced to this aquarium's Regenstein Sea Otter habitat. I don't think I've ever seen an otter not wet before this moment, and all I can say is one word: FLUFFY!!!
