Here's a look at the big stories making the headlines on this Friday around the world of football: 1. Manchester United's main opposition to signing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer appears to be Barcelona. Spurs keeper Hug Lloris has said Spurs fans must blame the players and not the manager for their poor performance so far. Blues keeper Courtois has urged Petr Cech that if he wants to return to the starting role, to find a move away from Chelsea. (Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2834611/Thibaut-Courtois-Petr-Cech-lot-quality-LEAVE-Chelsea.html) My Thoughts: 1. I don't think Real would just let Barca buy Ronaldo, but I also don't think Real will sell him. 2. This is not the first time Bender has been linked with a move to the Premier League, especially Arsenal. It's almost coming an inevitability. 3. Spurs just don't have the quality to be honest. 4. Cech is going to need to move away from Stamford Bridge in order to regain a starting role. I expect he will as well.
