The Steelers faced the Titans on Monday Night Football, but the game turned out to be the Le'Veon Bell show on this cold night. The game came down to the 4th quarter with the Steelers trailing by 4 but was sealed when Roethlisberger threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown with 9:01 left, lifting the Steelers to a 27-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Bell ran for 204 yards and a TD and he could not be stopped. The last drive by the Steelers to kill the clock was just Bell run after Bell run and the Titans could not do anything about it with Bell ripping back to back 10 yard gains and more. By the end of the game Bell had 33 carries. Thanks to Bell, the Steelers held the ball for 39 minutes, 49 seconds with a 386-312 edge in total offense. The Titans put up a good fight with a furious rally in the middle of the game but ended up with their fourth consecutive loss. Zach Mettenberger threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns, and fellow rookie Bishop Sankey ran for another score. Their offensive core is young but promising. "We feel very close," Mettenberger said. "We're not doing enough to win football games. That's the bottom line and the most important thing. But rookie running back, rookie left tackle, rookie quarterback, rookie middle linebacker. We're doing a lot of good things." The Steelers are in the race to win the AFC North while the Titans will be looking at another high selection in next years draft. The Steelers now have a bye and the Titans will head to Philly to face the Eagles next week.
