Solange Knowles' weekend nupitals to beau Alan Ferguson pretty much stole all the wedding spotlight for the year 2014. The wedding took place in New Orleans’ Faubourg Marigny district at the Marigny Opera House. There are many trends in one wedding: cape, jumpsuit, all-white bridesmaid ensembles, and the return of the wedding trousseau. For the pre-wedding event on Friday at the Indywood Cinema, Solo wore a calf-lengthen dress from the Australian brand Ellery. On Saturday, Solange wore an off-the-shoulder one-legged jumpsuit (the first of three outfits) by designer Stéphane Rolland. For the wedding photos, Solo wore a caped Kenzo gown created by Humberto Leon. She then changed to an ivory cape by Stéphane Rolland. Take a look at the wedding photos above. Who wouldn't want to be Solange Knowles? I'm pretty sure this will set ground for other celebrity couples (that can afford 3+ attires in one wedding). On a side note, I can't help but include a picture of J.Crew Creative Director Jenna Lyons. She looks so chic as a wedding attendee.
My favorite piece is the caped kenzo gown. It's so elegant and reminds me of ancient Greek characters.
What amazes me is the attendees managed to dress all-white. Quite impressive.
