Who do you have as the MVP so far? NFL released a list recently and some of them may be controversial: 1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers 2. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots 3. J.J. Watt, Houston Texans 4. Tom Brady, New England Patriots 5. DeMarco Murray, Dallas Cowboys 6. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos 7. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts 8. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs 9. Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks 10. Golden Tate, Detroit Lions Honorable mention: Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Calais Campbell, Justin Houston, Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, Dez Bryant Your first reaction is probably Golden Tate at number 10 but you have to think about how the Lions kept winning despite Megatron missing most of the season. Tate's been putting the Offense on his back which is pretty crazy. Aaron Rodgers can definitely be justified since they are just blowing teams out of the water right now. But I think you could say that Luck has been getting it done without the firepower that Rodgers has and no line. Also I would have no problems with Watt winning the award. The guy is the best defensive player and it's not even close and the guy is scoring TDs on offense. No one is contributing more both ways.
@windycitytale I agree with you that QB is the most important position. I wish there was another award that excluded QBs that had the same level of prestige with MVP. Personally I think I have to go with Watt. Just like how a good QB with a terrible offense may not be able to win, the only reason the Texans aren't winning is their inept offense continually turning the ball over near their own end zone. Watt is having an unprecedented defensive season and it's sad to see that Clowney couldn't play this year or this defense would have just been nasty
No QB no victories. I have to say I think this may be Rodger's finest season yet. Cutler is showing that without a competent QB you can't win. Frustrates the heck out of me that the Bears are committing to Cutler. As good as Watt is, his team isn't winning. Shows that QB is the most important position
@MereChrisKang I think many would agree about Rodgers. Only thing people could say is that he had a slow start but he's more than made up for it
The way Rodgers is tearing it up I think he's the one. He's not even playing the second half of games these days that's insane
