7 Tech Gifts for the Kitchen
Techcrunch has a pretty handy guide of tech gifts for people who love the kitchen. My kitchen is still pretty old school compared to all these gadgets - I do admit I wouldn't mind having all of these. Hopefully this guide will help you find the perfect gift for that special person in your life! Here are the gadgets: 1) Blendtec Designer 725 Blender - $649.95 (http://bit.ly/1ul46ya) A professional blender for that person who loves smoothies and pureeing a variety of foods. 2.) Juicepresso Cold Pressed Juicer - $499.99 (http://bit.ly/1AuN4WJ) This is a revolutionary juicer that is much slower than your commercial juicers. Small, compact, and easy to use, this gift would be perfect for the health nut in your life who loves juicing or has always wanted to get into juicing but hasn't wanted to go through the hassle of using juicers that are hard to clean up. 3.) Belkin WeMo Crock-Pot Slow Cooker - $129.99 (http://bit.ly/1z5cciu) This crock-pot is made especially for the people who feel like they never have time to cook. With wifi and a mobile app, you are able to control the settings on-the-go and never have to worry if your food overcooks...or burns. I would love to have this in my kitchen. 4.) The Orange Chef Prep Pad - $149.95 (http://bit.ly/1AuNjkw) Another high-tech kitchen device, this prep pad helps you find out the nutritional value of your food by placing it on the mat. You'll never have to wonder exactly how much calories or how much vitamins you are getting in your meal. This is perfect for the people who love leading a healthy lifestyle and managing their diet. 5.) Belkin Kitchen Cabinet Mount - $49.99 (http://bit.ly/1uM9EW5) Mount your television in the kitchen with this modern Belkin mount. 6.) iGrill2 Wireless Thermometer - $99.99 (http://bit.ly/11E9K7G) This smart thermometer lets you know on your mobile phone when your meat is done cooking. Perfect way to make grilling more efficient...and you'll be able to cook your meats to perfection. 7.) iKettle WiFi Kettle - $157 (http://bit.ly/1BVKzOJ) This will have boiling water ready for you in the morning or afternoon. It has remote boiling and variable temperature control, as well as automatic boiling based on geofencing and morning wake up time. I personally am eyeing this one. @csgeek Yes, it is. The cool thing about it is that you can weigh the food as well to see how much you are eating. I have an aunt who I know would love this. I never thought of combining tech and kitchen appliances!

@TechAtHeart True. I feel my mom would love it, but I'm not sure if it would be too advanced for her...
