The Social Network
Mark Zuckerberg was just another college nerd when he stumbled upon a way of allowing male students to compare and rate pictures of the female students. Though his efforts - named Face Mash - got him in a whole lot of trouble from the Harvard authorities, it would be the initial seed of Facebook which rapidly expanded through colleges on the Eastern seaboard over the coming years before taking over the world. But it was never plain sailing for Zuckerberg, Edouardo Saverin - his college friend who provided the seed money for the fledgling site, Sean Parker - the Napster founder who took the idea to Silicon Valley's venture capitalists, or the Winklevoss twins - fellow Harvard students who claimed that Facebook had been their idea, each of whom has a different version of how the defining social phenomena of the century was founded.
