Clip this card - it might be the only one where I say these words: I love a Taylor Swift song. Blank Space is too catchy to deny and the beat is hypnotizing. It's filled with all of my favorite cliches and I was singing along from the very first listen. Just a little issue I have with it, I had to triple check that Lorde didn't write this. I wonder what TSwift's newest best friend thinks of this track that reeks of Pure Heroine in the best way. Lindsay Zoladz of Vulture describes Blank Space as "a good deal peppier than anything on Pure Heroine but has a rhythm that reminds me so much of its lead-off track "Team" that I find myself wanting to add a "... you can watch from your window" at the end of every verse." The resemblance doesn't make me hate it, I just don't want Swift ripping off the artists I genuinely love. Let's hope this is as far as she goes. Anyone else hear the similarities?
